Georginio Wijnaldum (Liverpool FC) - adidas Copa 21.1
The Liverpool FC and Netherlands international is a true master when it comes to controlling and caressing the ball. That’s why the adidas Copa range of football boots fits him like a glove, and even more so this new version, which is set to hit the market in January 2021. The Dutch footballer, who until now was known for wearing a pair of adidas X 19.1s customised to his liking, is thus moving away from the German brand’s speed range to switch to one of next year’s first major innovations in the world of football boots.
Petr Čech (Chelsea FC) - Nike Phantom GT DF
The Czech-born goalkeeper has been back in the football news in recent days, as, almost two years after leaving the top flight, he came out of “retirement” to play in a match for Chelsea’s Under-23s. The big news was that he wore Nike football boots, in this case the new Phantom GTs. This would not be particularly remarkable for a goalkeeper of his calibre, were it not for the fact that during the final years of his career he maintained a close commercial relationship with the Puma brand, whilst he was still a player at Arsenal FC.
Reinier Jesus (Borussia Dortmund) - adidas Nemeziz
The young striker, one of the most promising talents in world football and currently a Borussia Dortmund player, has recently officially ended his sponsorship deal with Puma. Everything suggests that the Brazilian footballer is close to signing a new contract with Puma’s ‘rival’ brand, adidas. Lately, he has been training in a rather sought-after, albeit older, model from the three-stripes brand’s speed boot range, the adidas F50 adizero II. It seems Reinier has a particular fondness for classic models, as during his time with Puma he was often seen training and playing in the EvoSpeed. However, when it comes to official matches, the boot he has been using is the adidas Nemeziz.
Karim Benzema (Real Madrid) - adidas F50 Crazylight by Fútbol Emotion
The star of this section this week is Karim Benzema, who has been training in a pair of adidas football boots designed exclusively by Fútbol Emotion: a pair of adidas F50 Crazylight boots that made their debut in last Saturday’s Madrid derby and in yesterday’s match against Athletic Club de Bilbao, a game in which the French striker scored two goals. Thus, our first official and exclusive boots take centre stage, designed by our company and manufactured by adidas.
