The new Predator boots due to be released in 2026 have a similar silhouette to previous models. In this regard, they haven't changed much, retaining the tongue and that retro look that I personally love. However, there are some exciting new features in all the important areas of the boot. Let's take a look at them.
Next, let's take a look at the upper, which has been completely redesigned using a new mesh-style material that alters the feel of the shoe. Although this material takes a little longer to mould to the foot, after a couple of sessions it becomes very comfortable. Above all, it adapts better to the shape of the foot than previous generations.
The thinner, more malleable material prevents the creases that we sometimes saw in previous generations. Turning to the 'Predator Element', it has been refined and continues to provide an exceptional grip on the ball thanks to the Nanostrike technology incorporated into each panel on the side.
There are also several details to note: the adidas stripes are taken directly from the old Precision model and are slightly embossed. The toe cap is also slightly higher than in the previous version, significantly improving comfort at the front. This is thanks to the Primeknit engineered upper, which strikes the perfect balance between comfort and fit.
And, as always, we finish with the sole. This features the return of the Powerspine — the backbone in the middle of the sole that provides balance when striking and stability with every step. It's a more aggressive sole with a very Predator look, combining laminated studs and lots of traction.
In conclusion, we have a boot that takes a turn towards a more aggressive, modern essence of Predator, while retaining the same aesthetic elegance. In a silo that is all about innovation, continuous improvement and football history, this boot is a true embodiment of the Predator legacy.
