New Nike Flight HI-VIS Premier League

A ball unlike any other, a unique ball, a ball that has been the talk of the town all over the world. The Premier League’s new winter ball is simply spectacular, and today we’re taking a closer look at it together.

About a year and a half ago, Nike launched a product it had been working on for over seven years – a lengthy process that resulted in what is probably the best football ever made. The Nike Flight is, without a doubt, the Nike product that has surprised us most over the last five to six years, and it continues to do so. As well as being an excellent piece of kit from a technological point of view, its design is equally impressive, particularly when it comes to the latest release from the Swoosh brand.

Nike’s new winter ball is simply SPECTACULAR. The American brand has decided to pay tribute to the world of comics and superheroes with a retro design straight out of the 90s. The colours chosen for the ball, which will be used by English teams during the winter season, are yellow, blue and red. The pattern on the ball is instantly recognisable and makes you feel as though you’re inside a comic book.

We now turn to the more technical aspects, though we won’t dwell on them too much as nothing has changed. First of all, why ‘Hi-Vis’? The acronym ‘Hi-Vis’ stands for ‘High Visibility’. We’re talking about an accessory that will be used during the rainy season and the frequent snowfalls that characterise winter in England; therefore, Nike must pay special attention to this detail, offering a ball that can be seen in all weather conditions.

The ball also incorporates ACC and Aerowsculpt technology, now classic features of the American brand.
