Puma Future evolution

This time, we're going to review the origin and evolution of one of the silos that is defining an era. A football boot silo that has been the talk of the town since its inception and that everyone who tries it wants to repeat. Let's take a look at the evolution of Puma Future.

Puma Future 18.1 football boots

We begin with the first model that was launched, a model that left behind the much-loved Evopower and brought us a completely new silo. A change in concept that focused above all on fit, with the inclusion of the key technology in the Future, Netfit.

The boot was made from Evoknit, a textile material that made this model one of the most comfortable, which was covered with a synthetic mesh that had different eyelets all over the upper so that we could play with the lacing and adjust the boot however we wanted.

In fact, these suggestions came in the box itself, along with a second pair of laces. The sole was much more classic, with mostly conical studs supported by laminated outer studs to aid traction. They evolved with the Puma Future 2.1 version, which introduced a more streamlined upper, a thinner collar and, in short, a slightly more minimalist Puma football boot, but without losing the essence of the first Future boots.

We continue with the first real evolution of a boot that was very well received. In this evolution, there is a change in the upper part of the boot, which raises the Evoknit to the top and protects it with 3D HAVOC technology, which gives us more grip and efficiently evacuates water. The Netfit is also reduced with fewer eyelets, and a larger striking surface is provided.

The sole retains the same format as it was popular with most of those who used it. This change gave us a boot that was consistent with previous models, but with improved striking and comfort on a par with Future.

They underwent a slight restyling, as we can see in the photo, with the Puma Future 4.1, a change in nomenclature, which also served to redesign the knit pattern of the boot and give it a ‘square’ shape. The grip was increased slightly and the rest of the performance of this sensational boot was maintained.

We come to another change which, although not huge, gives the upper another twist, because although it is still knit, the shell is greatly refined and makes the boot even more comfortable. This knit is covered with a synthetic material to protect the thread, which not only protects the boot and makes it waterproof, but also gives us excellent grip. There was a very slight evolution with the Puma Future 6.1, where the structure of the shell was slightly retouched, but without any functional changes.

Este modelo fue un gran acierto ya que, si bien se olvidan un poco del netfit inicial porque apenas tenemos posibilidad de jugar con el cordaje, la combinación de ajuste y comodidad de esta bota gracias al material de la carcasa que es perfecto.

Puma Future Z football boots

And now we have the new Puma Future Z football boots, a boot that refocuses on fit, giving us one of the most comfortable boots available today. The change comes with a new redesign of the upper, which adds an adaptive fit band so that the boot automatically adapts to different foot types.

In addition, the redesign of the upper with the inclusion of knit fabric gives us a very soft material with certain touches of grip to help with touches and passes. Therefore, the combination of the adaptive band with the new upper and the slightly more streamlined silhouette results in an extremely comfortable and adjustable football boot. The sole has been modified for the first time, with the introduction of semi-conical studs and a Z-shaped spine, which will help to prevent unnecessary twisting.

And this is a review of the entire evolution of Puma Future football boots, the story of a boot that has taken the right steps and resulted in a super-complete football boot that is undoubtedly one of the most comfortable on the market. Are you ready to try them out?

Puma Future Z 1.2 football boots

With the arrival of Puma Future Z, a new concept of fit and comfort was created, which was slightly tweaked in version 1.2, with a different grip pattern and a slight redesign of the collar fit.

A fantastic boot that follows in the footsteps of the original model and is a real delight.

And this year, we have finally seen the first real evolution of the Puma Future Z. The FusionFit+ design has been modified, giving us a tighter and better distributed fit, as it starts further back and is not just focused on the middle of the boot.

It also provides extra grip with the inclusion of a more aggressive pattern on the front, as well as allowing us to use it without laces, something that several Future players were already doing, but now with the backing of the brand.

Neymar Jr's football boots are a real delight in terms of fit and comfort, the sole is fantastic, and they leave us with a tremendous legacy for the entire history of Puma Future.
