The full name of this limited edition is Puma Ultra Mercedes-AMG Petronas 1.4, an unrivalled boot that combines all the speed of the Formula 1 team of the prestigious German car brand with the new Puma Ultra football boots, a fantastic combination.
These boots are based on the colours of this year's Mercedes single-seaters, with the silver arrows featuring prominently in the design of the Puma boots. The colour is silver with green detailing, just like this year's cars driven by Lewis Hamilton and George Russell.
Of course, it wasn't just going to be a change of colour, as the rest of the boot also has distinctive details such as the Mercedes symbol on one side together with the AMG logo (Mercedes' speed seal) and the rest of the official Formula 1 team name.
Visually, they are a real treat, but technically, Puma's fastest boot is not far behind. The Matrix Evo features the main technology that shapes the upper, with strips mixed with knit fabric that form the entire structure of the boot, allowing it to retain its shape and be fully reactive laterally.
Obviously, this speed requires control, and that's where SpeedCage technology comes in. This is an internal shell that allows our foot to be securely fixed to the boot, ensuring we feel comfortable and secure at all times, just like drivers in their cars.
The sole of this boot is brutal in terms of speed, as it has a highly reactive plate with laminated studs to give us maximum traction while allowing us to rotate and turn. It is suitable for playing on FG/AG pitches, being very versatile without losing any of the speed that Ultra boots are known for.
In conclusion, we have a very limited edition, featuring a collaboration between two incredible brands that exude speed wherever they go. A real gem from Puma and Mercedes-AMG.
