With the arrival of the new Nike Tiempo 8 Elite, the usual launch format was tweaked slightly, and we saw that two colourways had been chosen for the launch. Firstly, we saw a darker version of the Tiempo 8 as part of the ‘Under the Radar Pack’, and another in pearl white with iridescent detailing, known as Nuovo White. And now, at last, this Nuovo White aesthetic is making its way to the American brand’s other ranges.
Nike Tiempo 8 Elite
We’ll start by taking a look at the colourway that inspired this pack, which suits the white colour perfectly. Classic colours like black and white look particularly good on all natural-leather football boots, and these Nike Tiempo 8s are no exception. The kangaroo leather on the forefoot, with its diamond-patterned weave, pairs perfectly with the iridescent Swoosh on the side, giving the Tiempo a simply spectacular look.
From a technical point of view, the Quadfit interior will provide a much more evenly distributed fit than previous Flyware models, without compromising on the classic fit and feel characteristic of leather boots. The modern leather boot is back in white.
Nike Mercurial Superfly VII
We move on to the other recently released model, none other than the Nike Mercurial Superfly VII – a boot that also looks particularly good in white, but where we must above all highlight the iridescent Swoosh, which makes the boot stand out at all times.
This new Flyknit, with its Tenacity Yards, gives the boot a very aggressive look without compromising on the perfect fit expected of a speed boot, all perfectly tailored with the NikeSkin overlay. The outsole also features a glossy finish, whilst retaining the design that has become a hallmark of this boot, complete with the ‘Just Do It’ and ‘Mercurial’ slogans. A sleek and understated look for the ultimate speed boot.
Nike Phantom Venom
Now it’s the turn of the strikers’ boots, which are winning over more and more fans the more people try them. The Nike Phantom Venom football boots come in a spectacular pure white, but once again the Swoosh stands out, with a diamond-inspired design that’s sure to give all shots taken in these Venom boots the extra edge they need.
The upper is simply brilliant on a very well-made boot, which retains all the essence of striking boots whilst offering a modern, minimalist take on the pure essence of the original Total 90s. The white colour adds that final touch of elegance to these Venom boots, which have once again hit the mark.
Nike Phantom Vision
And now we come to perhaps the most understated pair, though no less remarkable for it. These boots, with a premium feel and featuring one of the softest Flyknit fabrics available today, are finished in white across the entire textured upper, where the Swoosh once again stands out, this time entirely in grey.
White also features on the upper and collar of these Nike Phantom Vision boots, which look incredibly stylish and eye-catching thanks to this pure shade. The outsole is also white, rounding off a simple yet effective design for all those who love the game.
This is the new Nike pack – a pack that marks a radical departure from the recent releases, which were dominated by dark or black colours, and brings white and brightness to all Nike ranges. A design that will pair perfectly with a variety of kits and which we’re already seeing on pitches everywhere.
