Training in winter is always a bit harder: the cold, the wind, the rain... in short, the weather. The uphill slope gets even steeper if you don't have the right equipment to stop the weather from becoming an additional obstacle. That's why today we're presenting five essential items of sports equipment for winter.
Thermal shirts for football
Possibly the most important item on the list. You'll find thermal T-shirts everywhere, but that doesn't mean they're any good, and this product is vital for training. In the Fútbol Emotion collection of thermal football T-shirts, you'll find a wide selection of ranges, prices and models. These include different breathable fabrics that regulate body temperature and don't absorb water, keeping you dry during training or matches. For colder days, I always recommend the double-density ones, which are wonderful.
Thermal tights
Although the legs are not usually the area where we suffer the most from the cold, many of us still prefer to cover the lower body with an extra layer. Whether you prefer short, long or 3/4 length, choose the model that you feel most comfortable with.

Training sweatshirts
Another garment that we never forget when training is a sweatshirt. This second layer protects us from the cold, but it seems that players often choose the wrong one, as it is very easy to see them wearing cotton sweatshirts that do not wick away moisture and get soaked as soon as three drops of rain fall. The best option is to wear a ventilating, lightweight, water-repellent thermal top.
It is worth mentioning Nike and adidas' new range of winter clothing on this occasion, which provides extra protection in the central area and an exceptional fit. Both brands have been successful in adapting their clothes for this season.
Thermal gloves
Obviously, we are not talking about goalkeeper's gloves, but rather gloves for outfield players. And not just any polyester glove will do. We need a glove that protects against the cold, is breathable, tight-fitting and, most importantly, has grip on the palms to prevent the ball from slipping when taking a throw-in.
Winter jackets for football
It's time for the winter jacket, and although it's true that we won't use it during sports practice, we've all had to stay on the bench at some point, and to that we add that for all the trips and time-outs before and after the game this garment is completely essential.

Nike snood
A new product that really since its launch a few years ago, has become a must have for me, when the cold weather starts. The truth is that it is not like a conventional snood, as it goes up to the ears and the protection it provides is far superior to any other accessory of this style.
In addition, the central area allows you to breathe comfortably, which means you don't feel the freezing cold on your face, something that is very, very appreciated. The Nike snood is a safe recommendation.
And here are the best accessories so that getting cold this winter is no longer a problem.
