2020 Internet Day at Fútbol Emotion

Internet Day at Fútbol Emotion is a cause for celebration. After all, something so essential to our daily lives—both personal and professional—flows through this global computer network. Great promotions of up to 70%, information, and football videos that fuel our passion, all guided by our beloved internet.

We celebrate Internet Day because, through this network, we can reach any corner of the globe with a single click. Our lives depend on the internet: for our shopping, our work, the information we access, the joy we get from watching a video or a film, and video calls and chats with loved ones who are thousands or just a few kilometres away.

Internet Day was celebrated for the first time in Spain in October 2005 on the initiative of the Association of Internet Users (aui.es). During the first edition, 534 events were organised across Spain and more than 200 public and private organisations signed the Declaration of Principles for Building the Information Society. The UN agreed to designate the 17th of May, a day dedicated to telecommunications, as World Information Society Day to promote the importance of ICTs and the various issues related to the Information Society raised at the WSIS. In March 2006, the General Assembly adopted a resolution (A/RES/60/252) proclaiming the 17th of May as World Information Society Day every year.

Internet Week at Fútbol Emotion

As you all know, our business relies on the internet. We are grateful to be able to enjoy and work with a network that we sometimes take for granted. We are going through a difficult time in absolutely every aspect of life, and the internet is always there to help us. At Fútbol Emotion, like almost all companies, we have decided not to hold any in-person events, for obvious reasons, and will be moving them online. As you can see, our social media is featuring football stars, thanks to live streams, as well as the reliable videos on our YouTube channel. We haven’t forgotten about product launches, which we have been able to enjoy during this period of lockdown. For example:

Nike Wavelength Pack

As we all know, the American brand Nike is fully committed to football in every sense. Young talents who one day inspire the next generation to want to be just like them. You aren’t born a star; you become one and work hard for it. We see this reflected in Cristiano Ronaldo’s football boots, or in Megan Rapinoe’s. That’s why we’re seeing subtle colours take centre stage, almost shifting towards an electric blue that’s gradually making a strong appearance. Wavelengths, for those who don’t know, are the distance between two points of maximum (peaks) or two points of minimum (troughs), but with consistency. Just as in the life of a footballer: highs and lows, moments of winning and losing, but always moving forward.

The players who will be wearing these boots in the coming days are Mason Mount, in his Nike Phantom VSN football boots, helping Tammy Abraham find the back of the net in his Nike Mercurial football boots – both players wearing the Chelsea jersey. Similarly, midfielder Caroline Graham will wear the Phantom VSN to assist Mariona Caldentey, who wears the Mercurial, both proudly sporting the FC Barcelona jersey.

Reusch Pure Contact Arrow G3

Just as with the Reusch Freccia G3, the essence remains in these Reusch Pure Contact Arrow G3 gloves; as we look back, we recall the history of the arrow that has accompanied so many goalkeepers throughout our careers. The German brand Reusch was making strides in incorporating technology into its gloves, and the arrow was an obstacle to improving the back of the glove with the new advancements they had developed. Reusch took a drastic decision for the brand and a traumatic one for goalkeepers: the Arrow became a thing of the past at the 2002 World Cup on all Reusch gloves. Just a year ago, we saw Inter Milan goalkeeper Handanovic wearing an all-white model, with the Arrow dominating the back; subsequently, we were all able to enjoy the same design as it went on sale in two different colourways.

As we mentioned on Labour Day, when the state of emergency began, it seemed as though Fútbol Emotion was grinding to a halt, but that’s not the case. Fortunately, our team are ALWAYS THERE. Fútbol Emotion carries on, with great promotions of up to 70%, working with top professionals to handle all the orders we continue to receive; because, even though matches aren’t being played right now, football never stops, thanks to the internet.
