The day has finally arrived. Sergio Ramos made his official debut for PSG last weekend, in the match between the Parisian side and Saint-Étienne. The former Real Madrid player’s journey has not been an easy one since his arrival in the French capital, with the media questioning his fitness, even going so far as to speculate that the Cameroonian might not make his debut for PSG.
But nothing could be further from the truth. Last weekend, Sergio Ramos finally pulled on the PSG jersey and made his debut for his new club. But what really caught our eye wasn’t his debut, but his feet, as he was wearing a pair of Mizuno Morelia Neo football boots – the Japanese brand’s crowning glory.
Towards the end of his time at Real Madrid, Sergio Ramos and Nike decided to part ways, and since then we have seen the former Real Madrid captain wearing various football boots, all of them concealed beneath his blackout version. New Balance Tekela, adidas Copa Sense .1 and Puma Future are just some of the football boots we have seen Sergio Ramos training in, but that changed following his move to Paris.
Mizuno football boots have been protecting the centre-back’s feet ever since he arrived in Paris, and whilst it’s true that we’ve also seen him wearing the Rebula range, the Mizuno Morelia Neo football boots were his choice for his official debut with Paris Saint-Germain. With no blacked-out sections and no attempt to hide them, these standard Morelia Neo boots in silver are as eye-catching as they are beautiful.
It comes as no surprise to us that Sergio Ramos has decided to play in Mizuno Morelia Neo football boots from now on, but has he reached some sort of agreement with the Japanese firm? Frankly, we don’t think so, as we live in the age of marketing and social media, and if there were any sort of contractual relationship, it would already have been announced by both parties. The only thing we know for certain is that the Mizuno Morelia Neo football boots are among the most well-rounded boots on the market. A last that is comfortable for different types of footballers, made from natural leather, exceptionally lightweight and featuring a classic sole with conical studs. The perfect football boots for many players, and if instead of bearing the Japanese brand’s logo, they bore any other, they would be among the most commonly seen on football pitches around the world.
Here’s what we think of Sergio Ramos’s new boots. Please feel free to share your thoughts on our social media so we can hear different perspectives on this. Finally, don’t forget that the Mizuno Morelia Neo football boots are available both in-store and on the Fútbol Emotion website.
Father's Day is coming up, and let's be honest: another tie isn't going to improve his style in the stands. If your dad is one of those who lives and breathes football 24 hours a day, the best gift is one that reflects his passion from the moment he wakes up until he arrives at the stadium.
Let your imagination run wild and give your club a completely unique kit. With over 300,000 possibilities, your team can be kitted out just the way it deserves thanks to Nike Kit Builder and Fútbol Emotion.
