After a long time, we can say that we are currently witnessing the golden age of women’s football. At Fútbol Emotion, we are very proud to continue supporting this sport, which in recent years has achieved milestones that once seemed unattainable; for this reason, we believe that now, more than ever, is the perfect time to enjoy it all.

Milestones such as the definitive move towards professionalisation of the Iberdrola and Reto leagues from 2022 onwards, the creation of FUTPRO – a union made up exclusively of footballers – and Alexia Putellas’ Ballon d’Or win a couple of weeks ago fill us with immense satisfaction and a special sense of excitement, given Fútbol Emotion’s long-standing commitment to women’s football.
SP FÚTBOL AND THE SPONSORSHIP OF WOMEN’S FOOTBALL
It is important to highlight the work of our own brand, SP Fútbol, in the world of women’s football. Following years of history for this Spanish brand and its creation of the exclusive “Earhart” glove model—designed by and for women—we can now proudly say that we sponsor 24 goalkeepers across the First and Second Divisions, a figure that only SP Fútbol can boast.
Among our sponsored goalkeepers are the first-choice keepers for FC Barcelona, Sandra Paños, and Real Madrid Femenino, Misa Rodríguez, who face each other this Sunday, 12th of December, on matchday 14 of the Primera Iberdrola league, allowing us to enjoy the unstoppable growth of women’s football up close, now more than ever. In addition to Sandra Paños and Misa Rodríguez, we also have goalkeepers represented by SP Fútbol in other First Division teams in the Iberdrola League, some of whom have been able to wear an exclusive SP Fútbol glove design, such as:
SANDRA PAÑOS (2015)
Mussa gloves, exclusive to the 2015 FIFA World Cup

THE EARTHART GLOVE MODEL CELEBRATES ITS 5TH ANNIVERSARY
The Earthart glove modelwas launched five years ago in response to the need to create a unique design tailored to the female hand. Even back then, when women’s football was not yet so popular, the Spanish glove brand reaffirmed its commitment to the sport. The Earthart model was designed by and for the anatomical needs of women’s hands, and various goalkeepers had the opportunity to try out different pre-made models and help define the various adjustments required, until the perfect model was achieved that met the general needs of goalkeepers.
It is also worth noting that the name EARHART is inspired by a legend in the struggle for women’s equality: Amelia Earhart, an American aviator who was the first woman to fly across the Atlantic. In addition to this record, she holds countless other flying records. To cement her status as a LEGEND, Amelia Earhart attempted to fly round the world along the equator, but her plane crashed just before completing the journey. Sadly, her body was never found. Earhart, the symbol and embodiment of what it means today to be a WOMEN’S FOOTBALL GOALKEEPER.
Furthermore, at Fútbol Emotion, we have always taken great pleasure in our commitment to raising the profile of women’s football over the years, joining various initiatives and taking action to promote equality in football.
Here are a few examples that have allowed us to enjoy women’s football, which we will continue to support by promoting and raising the profile of the sport across all its forms and age groups
EVENT: TOUCHES FOR EQUALITY
We brought together more than 300 female players from various football clubs in Madrid at our Madrid Bravo Murillo shop, where we invited them to take part in a ball-juggling session in support of equal opportunities in football. The event was led by Paola Ulloa, goalkeeper for Madrid CFF.
WOMEN'S WORLD CUP CELEBRATION AND JERSEY CULTURE
Launch of a campaign aimed at raising awareness of the Women’s World Cup through fashion, featuring women’s football shirts designed for everyday wear. We organised an event featuring a fashion show showcasing shirts from all the teams in the World Cup, which was attended by representatives from the worlds of women’s football and fashion in Madrid
SPECIAL Q&A WITH ALEXIA PUTELLAS AND AMANDA SAMPEDRO
In 2017, we organised an event at our Born branch, featuring players Alexia Putellas and Amanda Sampedro. We promoted it on our social media channels so that anyone who wanted to could come to our shop and spend some time with two of the country’s top players. The turnout was huge, and the event turned into a celebration of women’s football, during which we held a Q&A session – the star feature of our channel – and raffled off products among those present. Once again, Fútbol Emotion was shining a spotlight on women’s football.
Father's Day is coming up, and let's be honest: another tie isn't going to improve his style in the stands. If your dad is one of those who lives and breathes football 24 hours a day, the best gift is one that reflects his passion from the moment he wakes up until he arrives at the stadium.
Let your imagination run wild and give your club a completely unique kit. With over 300,000 possibilities, your team can be kitted out just the way it deserves thanks to Nike Kit Builder and Fútbol Emotion.
adidas is about to unveil the official ball for the 2026 World Cup in Canada, the United States and Mexico. Shall we take a look back at the balls used in previous World Cups?
