We’re looking at a relatively conservative year, but one packed with new features and models that you’re sure to love. Let’s take a look at them.

Below, we’ll take a look at the best goalkeeper gloves of 2021 to help you become the ‘Zamora’ of your league. This post is based on our experience using goalkeeper gloves in tests and assessing their performance during training sessions and football matches.

Reusch Attrakt total White

We’ll start with the only brand to feature in the top rankings again this year; the German brand has done a great job with its various models this year.

We chose this model primarily because it features the ‘Palm Fusion’ technology, which is the brand’s best, and the ‘Total White’ design, which is a real treat for the eyes. The sensation of our gloves becoming one with the ball when we catch it is truly unique.

Reusch Legacy Gold X

Staying with Reusch, we have the Legacy Gold, a reissue of a glove from the late 80s and early 90s that brings back all the nostalgia of that era.

Change the fastening and the palm is one of the best around today, yet it retains the original logo from the 90s, as well as the whole look. A remake that’s a real treat and stands out from every angle.

Nike Phantom Elite

One of the best gloves currently available, from the American brand, which has impressed us ever since its launch in 2020. We’re including it here now because it remains a top choice, despite the time that has passed.

The palm is perfect, but what really stands out is the glove’s construction, which ensures a perfect fit and a fantastic feeling of protection and support. A top-notch glove.

Rinat Kaizen Pro Supernova

We continue with number two on the list, a real gem of a glove; the Kaizen is a masterpiece both visually and technologically.

The key lies in the combination of materials, as the knitted fabric of the upper blends perfectly with the gel inserts and neoprene of the lower section. The fastening strap also features the Supernovagrip palm, which boasts a striking design and offers a sensational grip right from the first use.

SP atlas elite

And now we come to the house brand glove, which is also Pedro Mayo’s favourite. Once again, the secret lies in the perfect combination of different materials, which results in a sensational glove.

The gel insert at the fingertips, combined with the latex extending down to the closure strap to provide a point of adjustment, makes this glove the perfect blend of construction, flexibility and fit. The palm features the Q-Block, one of the best in the range, guaranteeing a perfect grip.  The best glove of 2021.

And that wraps up our round-up of what we consider to be the best gloves of 2021. As we always say, this is a matter of personal preference, and of course, you may have different favourites. Which ones would you choose?
