The Puma Turbo Pack

Puma football boots are kicking off the Champions League with a striking and groundbreaking collection. As we know, the German brand has been making waves in recent years, not only for its superb products, but also because everything they do is designed with the player in mind – for players of all types. Let’s add a bit of nitrous oxide to our game – welcome to the Turbo Pack.

The new Puma football boots epitomise, like no other, the crazy times we live in – and I don’t mean that in the negative sense we’re all familiar with; I’m referring to that capacity for reinvention and rebirth that only a select few possess. Puma has never given up; Puma has always carried on, offering products that measure up in the ‘shadow’ of the two giants. And now, in 2020, following two truly magnificent campaigns—signing big stars, signing promising young talents, and manufacturing products that are currently at the top of every list— This confirms that, more than ever, it is in the thick of the fight with the biggest names, shoulder to shoulder.

Turbo Pack by Puma Football

One vision, one essence; just when you think you can’t go any faster, you do – there’s always something more inside you. The Turbo Pack is built for full-throttle football, putting the torque of a turbocharged engine and the precision control of a finely tuned machine at your feet. Celebrating full-throttle football with colours inspired by the smoke and dust left on the racetrack. The future and ultra-speed are the hallmarks of this new collection. In any case, the German brand is all in. We’re talking about the new generations and innovation – what a modern player would clearly wear – but watch out: if there’s one thing Puma excels at, it’s offering a range of options to all footballers, such as the well-known and widely showcased Puma King Platinum football boot.

Puma Future 6.1 Turbo Pack

As we described in the post on the Puma Chasing Adrenaline Pack, these boots were created to provide a boost halfway through this challenging year of 2020. A true statement of intent, designed to give the competition a run for their money. The Puma Future football boots are, as their name suggests, the future. Starting with the upper, we see a dramatic change compared to the Puma Future 4.1 from the previous generation, and absolutely none from the earlier 5.1. We can see that there is no longer as much mesh in the NETFIT, and there are fewer lace holes, with laces now positioned only where necessary. Furthermore, they feature a much more adaptable NETFIT support system, with a fully knitted upper for a better fit and stability, and a GripControl Pro Layer applied to the areas most frequently struck by the ball, in the form of grooves.

One of the key features of the Puma Future football boot is its lightness; to achieve this, it features a reactive Pebax plate with RapidAgility technology, stabilising bars across the instep, and a combination of laminated and conical studs to ensure traction in all conditions, supporting explosive, multi-directional movement.

Puma ULTRA 1.1 Turbo Pack

As we explained in our previous post on the new Puma ULTRA football boot, the German brand has combined a fully dynamic silhouette with an extremely lightweight upper, known as MATRYXEVO. It is a fully engineered, technologically advanced boot featuring an outsole designed for instinctive running. The MATRYXEVO upper allows Puma to use a single layer of material, bringing this fabric much closer to the foot, whilst providing exceptional support with extraordinary lightness. This is the first time this material has been used in a football boot. In addition, an extra component has been applied across the upper: a GripControl Pro skin in key areas of the shell to provide complete control and precise grip on the ball when moving at extreme speeds.

Attached to the upper is a lightweight Pebax SpeedUnit outsole, featuring a bifurcated outsole design inspired by Puma’s stud DNA for dynamic acceleration. The outsole plate combines subtle triad-shaped studs in the forefoot with V-shaped blades for added aerodynamics, engineered for explosive speed.
