Following the huge impact and success of LOTTO’s BENCHMARKING campaign during the summer of 2019, the Italian brand is back to surprise us once again, this time with a new colourway for its flagship boot: the Solista III. This new version of the Solista range, in shades of blue and featuring the Lotto logo in white, is clearly a tribute by the Italian brand to the colours of the Squadra Azzurra. These boots were in huge demand last summer thanks to the hype generated on social media. And, in this case, we must proudly acknowledge our part in that phenomenon, as Fútbol Emotion was one of the first companies to stock these boots.
Lotto Solista III
In a previous post, we already looked at the top-of-the-range version of this new boot. However, it never hurts to refresh our memories and highlight that this is a boot with a fully mouldable shell that feels very comfortable on the foot. This new knit from Lotto is clearly softer than other similar materials on the market and, thanks to a protective film finish, provides greater grip and a little extra waterproofing. Lotto once again demonstrates its innovative side by offering footballers a technology called ANKLE FIT, which provides a perfect fit around the ankle.
In the outsole of the Lotto Solista 100 Agility, the Italian brand has developed a reactive nylon stud plate featuring PUNTO FLEX technology. The arrangement of the conical studs ensures stability, flexibility and agility during changes of direction, whilst the semi-conical or laminated studs, known as EVO, have been positioned in key areas to enhance acceleration, traction and sudden braking. All this is complemented by PUNTO FLEX technology, which provides the plate with strength without compromising its flexibility.
Lotto Solista 200 III
However, brands do not survive solely on designing, manufacturing, promoting and selling their high-end boots. That is why, today, we are also going to take a look at the Lotto Solista 200 III boots, a range that could be considered mid-range, but which offers features and a level of performance typical of professional football. This claim is backed up by the fact that they are worn by Manuel Lazzari, a player for S.S. Lazio. In fact, these could well be among the best football boots in terms of value for money.

Let’s start with the most obvious point, as at first glance the main difference lies in the design. We’ve moved from a laceless construction to one with laces, although the change is limited to the instep area. The Lotto knit used in this area has been slightly modified so that the footballer can adjust the laces to the required tightness without causing discomfort or excessive pressure. The upper is still made from a single piece, entirely in knit fabric and seamless. This means that the initial feel when putting on these football boots is excellent, with a very soft feel and a very low weight.
In the heel area, there is an external support that provides excellent stability and, together with the microfibre lining, ensures optimal support for the foot. This combination of materials and stability results in a high level of comfort whilst playing. The outsole features a design specifically tailored for natural grass pitches. The conical studs are combined with triangular studs on a plate that incorporates a stabilising bridge and Punto Flex technology in the metatarsal area.
