Due to their initial launch during this very unusual period for football that we are still experiencing, the initial reception of these Nike Phantom GT football boots has not yet been the best, or at least has not yet reached the levels the American brand had envisaged for this new boot. Even so, that is not reason enough for Nike to cancel this historic launch of its special ‘Scorpion GT’ edition, which took place in the final months of the year just ended.
These are the new Nike Phantom GT 3D, a pair of boots that are very attractive thanks to the 3D design featured across the entire upper.
According to the designers behind the Phantom GT range, the main idea behind this design is to show all footballers the three key attributes of the players who helped create these football boots, revealing all that calculation, instinct and, too, that touch of defiance.
It won’t be easy to make sense of this design at first, but we need to look at the way the swoosh is depicted on this boot; for example, we can very easily see this 3D effect incorporated in a really interesting way, and that makes the word ‘Phantom’ on the sides of the boot stand out even more.
And this is the new colour scheme that we can see, for example, on Rúben Dias’ boots, which are available in versions with or without a collar (DF).
