New SP Fútbol balls

The Spanish brand SP Fútbol presents its new professional-grade footballs. Ladies and gentlemen, meet Atlas and Valor.

Several years ago, SP Fútbol made a brilliant entry into the world of footballs. The brand, already well-established in the market for goalkeeper gloves and accessories, sought to expand further by entering a market that was new to them; yet, thanks to a superb product, they managed to carve out a niche for themselves.

Today we have definitive confirmation that when SP Fútbol sets out to do something, it does it well, and after countless hours of work, we are proud to present two new professional-grade footballs, both certified by FIFA. These are Atlas and Valor.

Let’s start by talking about the SP Valor football, a competition ball made from a 24-panel construction joined using a heat-sealing technique, designed to come as close as possible to creating the perfect sphere and to maintain a stable weight and diameter thanks to the waterproofing provided by the heat-sealing process.

TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS OF THE SP VALOR FOOTBALL

The SP Valor football features a 1mm PU outer layer with a 3D finish, as well as two inner layers: a 4mm foam layer and a 1mm PU layer. The weight of this football ranges from 120 to 140 grams, the standard set by FIFA for professional competitions. The valve, featuring a Thread Winding anti-leak system, maintains the pressure of the SP Valor football unchanged for weeks.

Next, we’ll be looking at the SP Atlas football, the crown jewel of this SP Fútbol collection. This is a professional-grade match ball, constructed from a 12-panel structure that is also heat-sealed – though this time using latex – to ensure the greatest possible roundness as well as a perfect seal that keeps the weight and diameter unchanged throughout the ball’s lifespan.

TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS OF THE SP ATLAS FOOTBALL

This football features a 1mm PU outer layer with a DIMPLE surface that channels air flow and reduces turbulence. It also comprises two inner layers: a 4mm foam layer and a 1mm PU layer. The 12 panels of this football are joined using a liquid latex heat-sealing technique. The weight ranges from 120 to 140 grams, the standard set by FIFA for professional competitions, and the valve, featuring a Thread Winding anti-leak system, ensures that the ball’s pressure remains stable for weeks.

Turning to the design, the Spanish brand SP Fútbol has opted to incorporate a turbine-like pattern into these footballs, where black, orange and blue take centre stage, ensuring maximum visibility for players when the ball is in play. An elegant, modern design with eye-catching colours that lend these SP footballs equal parts class and flair.
