Launched yesterday morning on the Fútbol Emotion website, it has already sold out almost completely, with only a few size S units remaining. We are talking about the Betis jersey with which Joaquín and company lifted a trophy that had not been in the hands of the Seville team since 2005. For the occasion, Italian brand Kappa wanted to combine tradition and modernity in a single kit, presenting the Betis club's sixth jersey of the season on the day of the grand final. For many, it is the most beautiful jersey of the season and undoubtedly the one with the greatest significance. But what is so special about this jersey that it sold out in less than 24 hours?
Kappa has opted for a design that combines the club's tradition and history with the technological and aesthetic innovations of modern times. Obviously, the classic vertical stripes of Betis, alternating between white and green, could not be missing. If you look closely, the white stripe on the left, where the crest is located, is completely covered by inscriptions in a very light shade of green. These are the names of the entire squad, creating a chiaroscuro contrast that has been well received by many.
The retro touch comes from the collar, a very classic element reminiscent of the 1995-96 season jersey. Gold has been chosen for the rest of the details, appearing on the players' numbers and names as well as on the classic stripes formed by the Kappa logo running down from the shoulders.
