If you thought we would spend this summer without any national competitions, you were wrong. In just under a month, the 2022 Women's Euro will kick off in the English capital. It's now a reality that women's football has grown tremendously, and brands are aware of this. Ahead of an event of this calibre, Nike has decided to focus on the match jerseys of the teams they sponsor, creating some formidable kits.
France Home/Away Kit
Both the home and away jerseys are sensational, and they far surpass the French men's national team kits. For the home jersey, Nike has obviously gone with the classic colours of Les Bleus. Blue completely dominates the scene, appearing on both the front and back of the jersey. Red, on the other hand, is incorporated into the side stripes and the back of the collar. White, meanwhile, defines details such as the Nike swoosh and the French national football team crest. The real star, however, is undoubtedly the chiaroscuro floral pattern that elevates the jersey to a higher aesthetic level.
The same pattern is found on the away jersey, this time only on the side stripes, which in this case are a faded pink. The rest of the kit is very simple, as it is completely white.
Netherlands Home/Away Kit
As for the kits of the ‘clockwork orange’, Nike has opted for a more conservative approach with the home kit and a more imaginative design for the away jersey. The home kit is nothing out of the ordinary, except for a classic monochrome orange print on both the front and back. Black is used for the rest of the details, giving the jersey a slightly more aggressive look.

The away jersey, on the other hand, is completely different, innovative and bold. The base colour is white, on which a pattern defined by various geometric shapes (more specifically rectangles) is arranged in a random and disordered manner.
