The best UCL jerseys

Last night saw the conclusion of the first round of Champions League matches. We’ve seen plenty of teams packed with top players, but which one had the best kit?

In today’s blog post, we’re going to take a look at which team has the best kit in this season’s Champions League. To do so, we’ll review some of the matches played and we’ll tell you which, in our opinion, are the most attractive kits competing this year in Europe’s top competition.

ATLÉTICO DE MADRID

In fifth place is the Atlético Madrid jersey. A kit in a striking fluorescent yellow that, however, did not bring luck to Cholo Simeone’s side, who lost 4–0 to Bayern Munich, the reigning European champions. Although their Champions League debut did not go as hoped, the Madrid side wore a very special jersey which looked spectacular. We see a fluorescent greenish-yellow dominating the entire surface of the jersey, accompanied by white accents in the background. The details are in black, both on the Nike logo and on the Rojiblancos’ crest.

MANCHESTER UNITED

Manchester United, despite not being among the hot favourites for the title, managed to leave the Parc des Princes with three precious points thanks to a goal from Marcus Rashford, who sealed the win for the English side with a superb curling shot.

But let’s focus on the jersey. We’re also talking here about the club’s third kit, a more classic design featuring irregularly spaced black and white stripes. These colours contrast with the red found on the United crest, the adidas logo and the brand’s signature three stripes on the shoulders.

A jersey that may not immediately catch the eye, but which takes on a real character when seen on the pitch worn by Bruno Fernandes’s players.

JUVENTUS

Álvaro Morata made a spectacular return to the Champions League, scoring a brace on his European debut for Juventus and helping his team secure three vital points.

He did so wearing a truly eye-catching jersey. It is also the Italian side’s third kit, a design featuring a vibrant orange as the main colour. Against this backdrop, black patches are scattered irregularly across the shirt. To highlight both the adidas logo and the Juventus crest, the brand opted for white, which stands out strongly against the two predominant shades.

REAL MADRID

After winning three consecutive Champions League titles, it’s surprising to see Real Madrid start this season’s campaign with a defeat against a theoretically weaker opponent. Even so, we’re convinced that the Whites will once again compete at the highest level in Europe.

As for their kit, this is a simple, elegant and spectacular jersey, one of our favourites this season. The traditional white remains the dominant feature, but this time it is accompanied by pink detailing. The three adidas stripes appear in this shade, whilst the brand’s logo retains its blue colour. The Real Madrid crest retains its usual colours, lending continuity to a visually balanced jersey.

CHELSEA

Chelsea, following significant investment in the transfer market with signings such as Kai Havertz and Timo Werner, had yet to find their best form in either the Premier League or the Champions League. In fact, they could only manage a goalless draw against Sevilla, the reigning Europa League champions.

However, if there was one particularly eye-catching aspect of that match, it was the kits worn by both teams. An all-blue jersey that perfectly represents the London club’s historic identity. It is a classic and elegant design, featuring the white Nike logo and the traditional crest of Frank Lampard’s side.

What about you? Which is the best-looking shirt in this season’s Champions League?
