We live in a time when sport has become a daily pursuit of training and competition which, as is normal, takes its toll on our bodies. Therabody, a pioneer in recovery technology, understands this situation and has set out to help athletes with several products that will help us get back in shape for exercise in record time.

But what is Therabody? Therabody is an American company founded with the mission of developing devices aimed at improving people's physical well-being. In 2008, Dr Jason Wersland, founder and chief wellness officer of Therabody, invented the world's first portable percussion massage therapy device, Theragun. In 2016, the brand launched it with the idea of helping to improve the way people trained and recovered. As the wellness industry evolved, the brand evolved with it, learning more about what people needed to achieve optimal health. They researched other technologies and discovered an opportunity to develop an ecosystem of industry-leading solutions, products, and services that made natural wellness personalised and achievable, which is why, in 2020, they changed the name from Theragun to Therabody.

Today, the brand presents its latest creation, which consists of pneumatic compression boots and goes by the name of Recovery Air. RecoveryAir's pneumatic compression consists of a ‘mechanical massage’ designed to improve circulation and reduce muscle pain and fatigue. Thanks to TruGrade Technology, during the inflation and deflation cycles, the garment generates pressure that rises up the legs, from the soles of the feet to the heart, to temporarily increase blood flow in the area being treated. With the aim of meeting the needs of all types of customers, the brand presents three models of boots, which we analyse below.

RecoveryAir Prime

This is the most efficient and simplified pneumatic compression solution for activating circulation. This pneumatic compression device is very easy to use and allows anyone to experience the benefits of clinically proven recovery technology. With this model, you will have access to guided recovery programmes by connecting to the Therabody app via Bluetooth.

RecoveryAir JetBoots

Thanks to this model, pneumatic compression is more practical than ever, while still allowing us to enjoy all the benefits of RecoveryAir's advanced technologies. This design eliminates the external pump and tubes, replacing them with integrated motors, making the JetBoots ultra-portable. All the components of the RecoveryAir JetBoots fit easily into a compact, stylish bag so we can store them and take them with us wherever we go.

RecoveryAir PRO

This is the brand's top-of-the-range model. The RecoveryAir PRO gives us complete control to create the pneumatic compression recovery routine that best suits our needs. With the RecoveryAir PRO, we can choose from a selection of four inflation cycles. We can use RecoveryAir PRO's TruGrade Technology to independently regulate the pressure in each chamber with pinpoint accuracy, adjust the parameters of any programme, save as many as we want, and share them with other RecoveryAir users. We can also let RecoveryAir PRO guide us with one of the four preset programmes. When it comes to superior pneumatic compression, RecoveryAir PRO is the enhanced option for optimal recovery.
