Introducing “The Battle Ranking”:

Below, we’ll help you sort out any questions you might have about Futbol Emotion’s Battle Ranking. What exactly is it? How can I sign up? Where can I take part? How do I qualify for the grand final in Zaragoza? We’ll explain it all below:

  • Is the tournament for outfield players or goalkeepers?
  1. For both.
  2. If you’re a goalkeeper, you can sign up for the Goalkeepers’ Tournament.
  3. If you’re an outfield player, you can sign up for the Outfield Players’ Tournament.
  • Are the outfield players’ and goalkeepers’ tournaments played at the same venue on the same day?
Yes. They’re played on the same football pitch at each venue. We’ll have areas set up on the same pitch for both battles.
  • Can I take part in both the Players’ Battle and the Goalkeepers’ Battle at the same venue?
Yes, you can take part in both battles. To do so, you’ll need to complete both registrations separately and note in the comments section that you’ll be taking part in both the Goalkeepers’ Battle and the Players’ Battle.

  • Why is it a “ranking”? What are the benefits of winning a battle?
  1. The winner of a battle receives a cash prize to spend in our Futbol Emotion shop – €100! – to spend on SP kit at whichever Futbol Emotion shop you choose.
  2. Free entry to the grand final in Zaragoza on 15 June
  3. A badge featuring a different shirt at the Zaragoza battle, certifying you as the winner of a Ranking Battle
  • If I don’t win the Ranking Battle, can I still take part in “The Final Battle in Zaragoza”?
Yes, every participant can sign up for as many venues as they wish, including the grand final in Zaragoza. Therefore, the same participant can sign up for A Coruña, Valencia, Madrid, Seville and Zaragoza if they wish.

  1. Benjamín: Born in 2009 and 2010 (7-a-side football)
  2. Alevín: Born in 2007 and 2008 (7-a-side football)
  3. Infantil: Born in 2005 and 2006 (11-a-side football)

  • Once I’ve signed up, when will I find out the timetables and match-ups?
The match-ups and timetables for each Battle will be published on the website itself in the days leading up to the event. They may even be published on the day before the event.
  • When will we find out who has progressed from the group stage?
Once all the group stage matches have finished. There will be a short break of approximately one hour to draw up the final brackets, which will be displayed at the football ground itself. After this short break to recharge our batteries, we’ll resume with the knockout rounds within each category.
  • What do I receive when I register?
When a participant registers for the event, they are guaranteed to play a minimum of three matches in the group stage (the top two from each group go through). If they qualify, they will play the final round matches in a knockout format. In addition, all participants in the ranking will receive a welcome pack consisting of a T-shirt (which must be worn during the match) to take part in the event and a gym bag. Competitors will be able to get changed in a changing room provided by the venue itself before the match. However, we recommend that participants arrive already changed to avoid crowding. No clothing or personal belongings may be left in the changing room.

  • When and where do I collect my welcome pack?
Participants must collect their welcome pack a few days before the event (dates listed on the website) from the Futbol Emotion shop in each city where we are holding La Batalla. This will give players and goalkeepers the chance to exchange their event T-shirt for a different size at the shop itself, if necessary. If you are unable to visit the shop to collect your Welcome Pack, you have the option (please indicate this in the comments when registering) to collect it 30 minutes before the start of the event (9.30 am) at the venue itself.
  • Will there be a shop at the event itself where I can buy Futbol Emotion products?
Only at the grand final on the 15th of June in Zaragoza. Not at the other venues, but participants can find everything they need at the shop located in the same city where the event is taking place. We will also have a physiotherapist available exclusively at the grand final in Zaragoza for all event attendees.

  • Can I take part in the Battle without having registered in advance on the website?
No, all participants must have registered in advance via the website or by telephone on 976080410, at least four days before the event.
  • Will I be able to find photos of the Rankings?
Yes, in the days following the event we will publish all the photos of the participants both on our website and on the Futbol Emotion Academy Facebook page.

These are the main questions that may arise for future participants in the Battle. If you have any further questions, please send them to formacion@futbolemotion.com
