This new version of the New Balance football boots is now available in Fútbol Emotion stores and on pitches around the world, ready to take on the best football boots currently on the market. The new New Balance Furon V6 retains the hallmark feature that has defined the range since the launch of the first generation: speed. With this new edition, New Balance takes a step forward in its quest to become a benchmark in the world of football. And it does so with boots into which the brand has put its ‘all’ – from the earliest stages of development and design right through to the moment they leave the factory bound for shops around the world.
New Balance Furon V6 Pro
This new gem from NB Football is packed with new features compared to the previous generation. The upper features the new FIT WEAVE technology, a revolutionary knit design that offers greater lightness and comfort compared to the internal mesh of the previous edition. Unsurprisingly, FIT WEAVE works in tandem with Hydraskin, creating a construction in which both technologies are seamlessly integrated. This combination helps to completely insulate the interior of the boot, whilst also providing the textured finish visible across the entire upper. The design has also changed, as has the way these two technologies are integrated. In this version, Hydraskin takes centre stage and stands out particularly thanks to the added grip. All this without compromising on a freer, more natural feel on the ball – one of the sensations already offered by previous generations of the Furon.
In the central part of the boot – its ‘chassis’ – we find other significant innovations, particularly in the collar and the lacing area. The latter has been completely redesigned and incorporates major changes. The inner tongue has been removed entirely to make way for Hyper-Lock technology, a solution that will delight those seeking a fit as close as possible to playing barefoot. Although the lacing system remains the same, this area has been raised to provide a wider, cleaner striking surface, free from any elements that might interfere with contact with the ball. All these changes are complemented by the removal of the external reinforcement around the eyelets. This element is still present in the boot, but is now integrated directly into its construction.
Thanks to these changes, New Balance has managed to create a completely revamped boot that remains true to the spirit of speed that defines players such as Sadio Mané. The collar area has also been redesigned and follows the style of some of the great boots from rival brands. This area is made from a very soft and flexible knit which, according to New Balance, retains its supportive properties.
If we look at the sole, we can see that, in its top-of-the-range version, NB has spared no effort in developing a completely new midsole, on a par with the best offerings from rival brands.
The sole features 11 triangular studs. One of them, situated at the front of the boot and aligned with the central axis, is oriented differently to the rest. The aim is clear: to provide greater support and stability during sprints, sudden stops and changes of pace. This is a very aggressive stud configuration that will delight players looking for a boot with a sole capable of delivering extra stability, traction and grip in every move.
