Never before has the lettering on a jersey been so important. ‘Why?’ you may be asking yourself right now. Well, it's very simple: because from the moment the word ‘Mbappé’ is written on the back of that jersey, the image will go around the world. If you think you're reading a scoop, nothing could be further from the truth, but why not dream of a finished Santiago Bernabéu stadium packed to the rafters, with Kylian in the centre of the pitch dressed in white and shouting into a microphone, ‘Hala Madrid!’. If that were to happen, the 2023 Real Madrid jersey would be one of the best-selling in the history of the club, but for now we will have to wait for the striker to decide whether or not that should be the case.
But let's focus on what's important. Today we are here to present Real Madrid's new jersey for the 22/23 season. We won't talk about the obvious, such as the fact that white is the main colour, as a change in colour could trigger a civil war, or even a world war. What we will talk about is that next season, the club will celebrate 120 years of history, so adidas has decided to bring back a classic design to pay tribute to such an important milestone.
Another detail that is not noticeable at first glance, but which does exist, is a sublimation print on the white background of Real Madrid's new jersey, featuring a series of vertical lines accompanied by the club's crest across the entire jersey. Another striking feature is the sleeves, which normally have a trim in a different colour to the jersey, giving it a distinctive touch, but this time that is not the case. The trim is also white, making it almost unnoticeable when looking at the jersey as a whole.
The most important feature of the Real Madrid 22/23 jersey is, without a doubt, the collar. It is classic, like a polo shirt, and has a button for anyone who wants a tighter fit in this area. We can also see two thin lines of the same size, each in a different colour, on the outside. The first is lilac, a colour that breaks up the white and adds a fresher feel to a design that needs it. The second is black, like the adidas logo and the club's sponsor.
Finally, continuing along the upper part of this jersey, we move on to the shoulders. Here we find something that could not be missing from an adidas jersey: the three stripes, which this time are dyed in the lilac colour mentioned above, contributing very positively to the aesthetic aspect, both in terms of tone and location.
That's all about Real Madrid's new jersey. Will Kylian Mbappé wear it? Who knows. What we can assure you is that you can already get it in stores and on the Fútbol Emotion website.
Today, we're going to take a look at a special top list. We'll be talking about boots that have dropped in price and are now available at crazy cheap prices thanks to some great discounts. Let's find out more!
