The Champions League is undoubtedly the most important club tournament in the world. Very few teams are lucky enough to have the trophy in their trophy cabinets, as to win it you must be able to beat the best teams on the continent and only one of them can lift the trophy.
To mark this important competition, adidas presents its new collection, launched under the name Champions Code Pack. More than 20 years ago, UEFA, the body responsible for managing this tournament, decided to change sponsors and replace Nike with adidas as the brand responsible for creating the Champions League ball. The brand did not disappoint, presenting a ball covered in stars that is now an emblem of our sport.
These same stars are what the brand has used as a reference for the design of the Champions Code Pack, transferring them to the three adidas silos to create a striking design in terms of both colours and shapes, without altering the technologies of the adidas football boots in any way.
Let's start with the adidas Predator Edge football boots. The three-stripe brand has managed to create a design that, in addition to filling the boots with stars, features dark blue, fuchsia pink and silver colours, yet is surprisingly understated. Perhaps this is because everything seems understated next to the other two silos, or simply because the silhouette of the new adidas Predator Edge football boots looks discreet regardless of the colours added to them.
The truth is that these three colours combine beautifully, and the use of dark blue as a base allows specific parts to stand out, such as the zone skin, using fuchsia pink to overprint it, and the three stripes of the brand that we find on the rear side, which are dyed silver. As for the stars sublimated on the upper of the adidas Predator football boots, we understand that they are the inspiration for the collection and must appear, although we are sure that many of you would have preferred the Germans to have avoided them.
We continue with the adidas speed silo, which is none other than the adidas X Speedflow football boots. This is the model that surprises us the least in the collection, not because of its colours or design, but because we have been seeing Karim Benzema, among others, scoring goals with them on for days now. And not just any goals, as last Wednesday we saw him score a hat trick against PSG in one of the matches that will go down in football history.
In terms of design, the adidas X Speedflow football boots are the standouts in this collection. We suspect that the line of this model has something to do with the fact that all colours suit it well, but it's also true that the lilac and turquoise used by the Germans in these adidas football boots are really beautiful. The use of white and dark blue in all the details achieves the goal of giving these boots a slightly more aggressive and groundbreaking look, two adjectives that fit perfectly with the philosophy of the silo.
Finally, and in order of personal preference, we will finish by talking about the adidas Copa Sense football boots. We are used to seeing adidas' natural leather silo dressed in sober colours, with simple and formal designs, but this time that is not the case. A decoration of large stars takes over the upper of these adidas football boots, which, together with silver and royal blue, make these some of the most daring Copa boots in the German brand's history.
We firmly believe the adidas Copa Sense football boots are the least impressive in this collection, although we are also dying to see them on the pitch to confirm the theory that you can't judge the look of football boots until you see them on someone's feet. Even so, it won't be easy for the brand to find a player who dares to wear such a striking design, because even though they are still one of the best boots on the market in terms of functionality, we all know how important appearance is in the marketing-driven world of football we live in today.
That's all about the new Champions Code Pack, with lots of colours and stars to tackle the key part of the season. Of course, they are now available both in shops and on the Fútbol Emotion website.
Spanish football has reason to celebrate as one of our greatest stars in women's football, Alexia Putellas, officially unveils her first exclusive boot. Let's take a look at all its secrets.
Today, we're going to take a look at a special top list. We'll be talking about boots that have dropped in price and are now available at crazy cheap prices thanks to some great discounts. Let's find out more!
