First and foremost, we must bear in mind that this is a collection which was originally scheduled to be launched around the first week of May – a collection intended to coincide with Euro 2020, hence the name Uniforia. With the Euro finally postponed until next year, and bearing in mind that adidas already had this collection of football boots ready to hit the market around this time – not to mention that next year we’re sure to see updated versions of these boots or even new silos – the German brand had no choice but to launch this collection and capitalise on the return of some leagues to competition to round off the 2019/20 season.
The adidas Uniforia Pack
Although we won’t be able to enjoy the Euro this summer, at least we can look forward to a new collection of adidas football boots. It’s a collection in which white takes centre stage, with each of the German brand’s different boot ranges featuring various shades spread across the upper and sole. The adidas Uniforia Pack stands out for its eye-catching designs, whilst maintaining a clean, minimalist aesthetic based on different colour combinations across its four boot ranges.
adidas Predator 20
The new generation of the German brand’s control boot represents a major evolution on its predecessor. Demonskin technology, which represents an updated reinterpretation of the Predator Element, is here to stay, retaining the same features and properties in this new generation. It is already clear how these herringbone-shaped rubber elements provide greater grip for control and passing, thanks to their distribution across the entire upper section of the boot.
adidas Nemeziz 19
The boots, designed exclusively for Argentine star Lionel Messi, feature a one-piece upper made from Primemesh material. This new version aims to provide the player with a feel similar to that offered by Primeknit. However, this material, found in the top-of-the-range models, is slightly thicker and stiffer, making the upper of the adidas Nemeziz 19 more robust and durable.
adidas Copa 20
These agility boots are designed to enhance ball control whilst running, making them ideal for players seeking comfort and lightness. They are crafted using a one-piece construction that combines two materials with laceless technology: an extremely soft, high-quality leather called X-Ray K-Leather, which is seamlessly integrated with Primeknit thanks to Fushionskin technology. The result is a seamless structure that enhances ball contact, which is why players such as Paulo Dybala and João Félix continue to rely on this range.
adidas X 19
We never tire of saying that one of the most striking strengths of these boots is their new upper, made from a single piece of X-Layskin Wave microfibre. This material has been developed with the aim of minimising the boot’s weight as much as possible, resulting in a much slimmer construction compared to the previous version. Unlike the TechFit, this time there’s a rubber insert with very little stretch, offering a truly comfortable and precise fit. A perfect boot for the fastest players thanks to its low profile, sleeker silhouette and reduced weight.
