The next level has arrived, and not just in any way. Nike has once again reinvented its flagship silo, which, despite undergoing constant modifications throughout its history, always lives up to expectations without losing the essence that has accompanied it since day one.

Nike Mercurial football boots are a modern classic, a silo that has already made history in our sport after being worn by many of the best footballers in history over the last 25 years. Today, the swoosh brand presents its latest creation, a new generation that seeks to continue leading the market thanks to all the new features it brings, while maintaining the essence of a silo with which thousands of players identify.

There are many changes compared to the previous generation of Nike Mercurial football boots, but one stands out above all others and is responsible for giving them their name. Air Zoom technology has arrived in football to give us a sensation we have never felt before. An internal air chamber between the chassis and the sole makes these Air Zoom Mercurials the most comfortable Nike speed boots to date, thanks to the cushioning sensation provided by Air Zoom.

Moving on to the sole, Nike presents a completely redesigned plate with studs in shapes we have never seen before. These will help us move in any direction, both at top speed and when jogging, and of course, when we are about to sprint. The four laminated studs on the rear portion will provide stability and grip on the turf during all our movements.

On to the upper, where once again thread takes centre stage. Several synthetic materials work together to create a lightweight upper that is sturdy enough to ensure that kicking the ball is not uncomfortable. In the central area, flyknit continues to provide pleasant pressure against the instep, which helps to keep the foot secure inside the Nike Air Zoom Mercurial football boots.

In terms of design, we are struck by the absence of the swoosh, which gives prominence to the name of the technology around which the entire Air Zoom Mercurial concept revolves. Furthermore, the silhouette appears to be somewhat wider than in previous generations, making comparisons with the now defunct Nike Hypervenom, or even the Nike Phantom GT football boots, inevitable.

That's all about the new Nike Air Zoom Mercurial football boots, a model that will soon be available both in store and on the Fútbol Emotion website.
