Nike has decided to go ahead with the new packs and launches it had planned. Although some have been slightly delayed, the brand is still unveiling them to the public. Today it brings us a new collection of Nike football boots, featuring a new colourway for all its models. Let’s take a look at them all.
We’re talking about the Wavelength Pack, a truly revolutionary collection that features a colour scheme unlike anything we’ve seen before. You’re probably wondering what the name of this new pack means. We don’t know exactly what Nike is trying to focus on with this concept, but we reckon it might be related to the colour a wave takes on as it travels. In any case, we won’t dwell on this too much, as Nike hasn’t offered us any explanation on the matter.
Four young stars from women’s and men’s football are showcasing these boots. On the one hand, we have two of the biggest rising stars in English football – and, in particular, at Chelsea: Tammy Abraham and Mason Mount, who are wearing the Nike Mercurial and the Nike Phantom Vision. On the other hand, we have two stars of women’s football, Caroline Graham and Mariona Caldentey, who play for Barcelona.
Once again, Nike has chosen to put its faith in young players and give them the chance to showcase a special new colourway that will be available to very few.
Let’s take a look at the technical features of these boots. As we’ve already mentioned, there are no changes compared to previous generations, as this is purely a cosmetic update.
The Nike Phantom Venom is perhaps the model that incorporates the most technologies. It features a Flyknit upper, a synthetic material that makes the boot flexible and lightweight. It also features Ghostlaces technology, which improves ball contact thanks to a fabric that conceals the laces. Finally, there is the Quadfit system, which provides greater stability for the foot inside the boot.
To finish off, let’s talk about the two Nike Mercurial models, which are practically identical. Both feature a Flyknit upper, although they are much lighter than the Phantom Vision, as well as a sole divided into two plates. The difference between the two Mercurial models is that one of them incorporates a sock-like upper, offering greater protection in the heel area.
That’s all you need to know about this new pack. If you’d like to get your hands on it, you can find it on our Fútbol Emotion website.
