As most of you will already know, Nike offers three different ranges, from the top-of-the-range Elite to the more affordable Academy range. What are we going to do today? It’s simple: take a look at each one and see how they differ. Let’s get started!

We begin, as one would expect, with Nike’s top-of-the-range model, the highest-quality boot offered by the American brand. In this case, we have a boot crafted from genuine kangaroo leather, a material of the very highest quality that is rarely found in other brands. Furthermore, on the instep there is a knitted panel that makes the boot lighter, makes it easier to slip your foot in and fits perfectly, as if it were a second skin. The sole is quite classic and is the only part that hasn’t changed from the previous generation. Of course, it is available with different sole types, but it costs around 230 euros.

We now move on to the second range, a boot that is still high quality but at a lower price. The construction and features are similar, but the materials differ. The upper is also made of natural leather, although in this case it is calfskin, which means it does not stretch as quickly as kangaroo leather. The knit is also different: slightly less stretchy and a little thicker. The sole, however, remains the same. A professional-grade boot, but at a more affordable price.

We finish with the entry-level range, the Academy, which costs around 75 euros. This boot retains the same shape but is made from completely different materials. In this case, it’s a synthetic leather boot, which means it won’t offer the same level of comfort as the two higher ranges, although it will still be comfortable. The knit upper has been completely removed and replaced with a classic tongue. The feel will be very different from the Elite and Pro ranges, but if you’re looking for an affordable option, it’s a very good alternative.
