The Nike Tiempo football boot is the most long-standing silo from the american brand. And it hasn't been that way for no reason. A hugely successful heritage line that is characterized by a relatively classic aesthetic and a manufacturing that combines the most traditional features of the leather boots, with the most up to date technologies from Nike.
The Nike Tiempo Legend 7 we are presenting in this post are a limited edition, from which only 100 pairs have been manufactured to be sold worldwide. This 'Black Platinum' edition is coated in all-black, and presents a tiny writing in the rear indicating you are one of the lucky ones to be in posession of such a football gem, manufactured for collectionists.
But, what do the all-new Nike Tiempo Legend 7 bring to the table?
Tech-wise, the latest release from the american brand is coming with a bunch of interesting features that surely won't go unnoticed. The upper is still manufactured with natural leather, this time being ALEGRIA leather, the premium material that Nike has been using for some special editions, and that will now be used in both the limited edition and in the general production. The new Nike Tiempo 2017 incorporates a Flyknit constructed heel into its seamless design, along with the Flywire cables that provide notorious lockdown and support. The Flyknit will also be visible in the tongue, for an increased breathability and comfort.
The clearly visible ridges were created by applying the k-leather upper on top of a foam skeleton, backed by a layer of nylon. This particular construction is meant to provide a better touch on the ball and prevent overstreching of the upper over time.
Last but not least. The sole plate and stud pattern of the new Nike creation have also been updated in comparisson to their predecessor. Nike introduces the Hyperstability plate, possibly the wider (and lighter) plate among the 4 Nike silos, featuring a mix of conical and arrow shaped studs for an enhanced responsiveness, specially in the heel area.
Set to be released in July 2017, the all new Nike Tiempo Legend VII silo will be available at Fútbol Emotion.
