Although this is an incomplete collection (with no apparent sign of the adidas X range), we must admit that it’s a collection we’ve always loved, as we are big fans of the more classic and understated football boots, such as those featured in this adidas collection. This is a special offering from the German brand, as on this occasion it has opted for a slightly different approach. We’re looking at a collection where darker colours take centre stage and where only the secondary details manage to stand out (with a different colour for each line of boots from the German brand), creating a completely different and much more eye-catching look.
For several months now, adidas has been treating us to this sort of collection, which is a hit with all those players – both men and women – who prefer to wear more understated football boots. Those who follow us most closely know full well that this is a collection of boots launched every six months and that it won’t be seen on the pitch; in other words, no professional player sponsored by adidas will wear these boots in official matches, except during training sessions or under specific instructions from the German brand.
The adidas Dark Motion pack
By offering such an appealing alternative for fans of more understated boots, adidas has once again hit the mark. On this occasion, the German brand has given three of its four boot ranges an all-dark colourway and has rounded off the design of each silo by adding its own secondary colour for the details. The absence of the adidas X from this collection suggests only one thing: a new launch is on the horizon – a new generation.
The Predator 20+ boots in this collection feature a look and design that are very reminiscent of the previous Predator model in ‘Black / Fluro Pink’ colourway. In this collection, the pink detailing is much more subtle than in that version and is largely confined to the heel and the top of the boot, where the Primeknit material is used.
The Copa 20+ features a shade of green very similar to the one seen in the previous ‘Locality Pack’ collection. On these boots, this colour is also confined mainly to the sole, whilst the upper features a much more subtle and elegant shade of black, which ultimately gives these boots a more attractive and sophisticated look.
And to round off this collection, we have the Nemeziz 19+, boots that also follow the same design language as the rest of the models in this collection. Here, the orange colour takes centre stage on the forefoot, whilst the darker straps (Agility Bandage) completely wrap around the foot, giving the sensation of wearing practically nothing on your feet.
To conclude, and as we mentioned earlier, don’t expect to see these boots on the feet of professional players. These are the options available, and you can now find them on sale at Fútbol Emotion.
