The new adidas Inflight Pack football boots are finally here. The continental competitions aren’t over yet, and as we’ve seen on the feet of our favourite players, they’ve already tried them out. It’s all about the feeling – the frustration, the desire and the drive; all those emotions our sport inspires in us, especially after going through times when we couldn’t set foot on the pitch. ‘Inflight’ means ‘on board’. With this, the German brand adidas and its football boots make us fly across the pitch. Let’s not give up; despite the times we’re living in, the enthusiasm and fervour we feel for our passion won’t make us jump ship. New opportunities to shine on the pitch. The most vibrant colours take centre stage in this collection.
Adidas Inflight Pack – The Champions League boots
adidas Copa 20+
There isn’t much difference from its predecessor, the adidas Copa 19+ boot. A boot we saw in the previous Locality Pack and which, from a technical standpoint, is truly exceptional; it features an upper made entirely of kangaroo leather, which wraps around the entire surface of the boot and is sealed to prevent any warping of the leather. The novelty of this football boot lies in its shell, where we see small filaments that create a 3D design across the upper, offering much greater grip and control with the ball. Perhaps adidas hasn’t taken too many risks, offering the player a simple yet effective restyling.
The leather blends seamlessly with adidas’s famous Primeknit in the ankle area, which is responsible for securing the foot firmly within the boot. The forefoot area is essentially completely uncluttered, because, as you can see, this football boot has no laces. This laceless kangaroo leather boot introduces a new concept in football boots, as it combines ‘classic’ materials with a thoroughly modern design. As for the sole, the new ‘Exoframe’ plate combines two densities to provide simply brilliant weight distribution throughout the boot, without compromising on traction—which is slightly more up-to-date than in previous adidas Copa Mundial Classics—as it features 13 semi-conical studs.
adidas Predator 20+
That’s it, here it is. The new adidas Predator 20+ football boot is now available, and of course, you can buy it via the Fútbol Emotion website. If you’d like more detailed information, we’d encourage you to check out the post on the new adidas Predator 20 that we’ve published in our blog section. In any case, 406 studs cover the most frequently used striking areas on this new boot, just as Craig Johnston did on his 1992 prototype. The cornerstone of what we see today.
The history of the classic adidas Predator boots has always been closely linked to split soles, and this time, after years of anticipation and under the name Control Frame, it makes its debut in 2020. The upper is known as Demon Skin, featuring a Primeknit construction with laceless technology to provide grip during boot-to-ball contact. The master of game control, utterly demonic, capable of anything, capable of making you feel like the true master of the football pitch.
adidas Nemeziz 19+
The shell continues to utilise AgilityBandage technology, but this time the bandage is woven into the forefoot, allowing it to rise evenly up both sides of the boot. A new synthetic finish protects this material and provides extra grip, which was one of the weak points of the previous generation. Inside the boot, there is an elastic membrane that hugs the instep, much like the one in the ACE 16+, securing it to the base so that stability is not compromised by the absence of laces.
And we’ll finish by talking about the sole. The first thing we notice is the return of the modular sole, which we haven’t seen on adidas football boots for almost 10 years. The new plate structure makes the boot lighter and increases its responsiveness. On top of this, there are 11 conical studs in a traditional configuration, which will provide traction during the most aggressive moments of play. Let’s not forget that these are Leo Messi’s new football boots.
adidas X Ghosted+
The most significant technological advancements in terms of speed come from the introduction of the CARBITEX SPEEDFRAME, which efficiently transfers power via the revolutionary, dynamic carbon fibre plate within the SpeedFrame’s lightweight construction. The X Ghosted is the first football boot on the market to feature an integrated dynamic carbon plate.
Regardless of the colourway on offer, we have a new feature on the case called MIRAGESKIN TRANSLUCIDO. This unique layer, made from high-performance material, is layered over a wire frame to create a seamless upper, which also provides stability and lightweight support. Its unique, ghostly aesthetic—as its name suggests—is semi-transparent, visually capturing the sensation it gives athletes.
Finally, one of those technologies that many of us have thought about during the hot weather; VACUUM FIT EXPERIENCE will be the star feature of the new adidas X Ghosted, as it allows players to feel air flowing in and out of the boot quickly whilst wearing it, creating a super-comfortable fit that supports explosive movements thanks to its close fit to the contours of the foot.
