The Nike Daybreak Pack

The new collection of football boots from the American brand Nike has just been unveiled worldwide. For the first time in 10 years, Nike is offering footballers a collection of football boots comprising just three ranges. This collection, launched under the name Nike Football DayBreak Pack, features the new Nike Phantom GT as its star product and also includes the Mercurial (Superfly and Vapor) and the Tiempo.

New Nike Daybreak Pack

Although this collection does not feature any major technological changes apart from the new Nike Phantom GT football boot, the American brand has certainly managed to add a splash of colour to this rather dull summer thanks to the new designs of the Mercurial Superfly VII, Vapor XIII and Tiempo Legend VIII.

Nike Mercurial Daybreak Pack

A new look has been unveiled for the Mercurial range, featuring an updated lightning-bolt-shaped Swoosh design – an element that was recently introduced to this range of football boots as part of the Nike Neighbourhood Pack. Since its first appearance in this collection, this same Swoosh has also taken centre stage on several Nike trainers thanks to the “Euro Tour” collection. The colourway chosen for these models, “Laser Orange / Black / White”, features on both the Superfly VII and the Vapor XIII and is exclusive to this range.

Nike Phantom GT Daybreak Pack

For anyone who isn’t yet aware of the official launch of the Phantom GT, these boots are part of a new range that not only replaces two existing lines – the Phantom VSN and VNM – but also brings together the best of both in a single model. The new feel on the pitch that these boots provide is made possible by Generative Texture (GT) technology. This material, featured in the upper, not only improves ball contact but also enhances ball control whilst running, all complemented by a fresh design that stands out from the rest of the ranges.

Nike Tiempo Daybreak Pack

As for the Tiempo, Nike’s most classic boot, renowned for its control and comfort, it is clear to see how the brand has chosen to give it a more distinctive look and a more traditional aesthetic. A key feature of this design is the blue blocks that dominate the entire rear of the boot. The Swoosh, the laces, the inner tongue and that small section of the sock feature a colour that contrasts more sharply with the rest of the boot, giving it a very classic yet, at the same time, thoroughly contemporary look within the world of football.
