The adidas Shadowbeast Pack

Black adidas football boots are something we tend to see every now and then. It’s become the norm at adidas, appearing in every other major collection. Following the release of the Encryption Pack, and three months on, it was the turn of the distinctive collection bathed entirely in black, known as the “Shadowbeast Pack”. With all this, adidas demonstrates its great capability, proving year after year that it is keen to be the brand that leads the way on the pitch and that it will go all out without ceasing. In this new pack, we can see that there’s no difference in terms of technical features, but it’s worth appreciating that brands are listening to the public and releasing all-black boots, as some players prefer a boot that isn’t as eye-catching as usual, allowing their playing to shine brighter than their boots.

New adidas Shadowbeast Pack

The new Shadowbeast boot collection will NOT feature every single model in the range, as the adidas Predator 19+ is, suspiciously, missing from this collection; the X 19, Nemeziz 19 and Copa 20 are included. This is one of those packs where the brand with the three stripes knows it will be a hit with all our customers, even though professional players won’t be wearing them and they won’t be seen on the pitch. Anyone wishing to get their hands on a boot from this new pack by the German brand should not hesitate, as they won’t be on the shelves at Futbol Emotion for long.

adidas Copa 20+

There isn’t much difference compared to its predecessor, the adidas Copa 19+ boot. From a technical point of view, it’s a truly superb boot, featuring an upper made entirely of kangaroo leather that wraps around the entire surface of the boot and is sealed to prevent any warping of the leather. The innovation in this football boot lies in its shell, where we can see small filaments that create a 3D design across the upper, offering much greater grip and control over the ball. Perhaps adidas hasn’t taken too many risks, offering footballers a simple yet effective restyling.

The leather blends seamlessly with adidas’s well-known Primeknit material around the ankle, which is responsible for securing and stabilising the foot within the boot. The forefoot area is essentially completely uncluttered, because, as you can see, this football boot has no laces. This laceless kangaroo leather boot introduces a new concept in football boots, combining ‘classic’ materials with a thoroughly modern design. As for the sole, the new ‘Exoframe’ plate combines two different densities to provide simply brilliant weight distribution throughout the boot, without compromising on traction – which is slightly more up-to-date than in previous classic adidas Copa Mundial football boots – as it features 13 semi-conical studs.

adidas Nemeziz 19+

The shell continues to utilise AgilityBandage technology, but this time the bandage is woven into the forefoot, allowing it to rise evenly up both sides of the boot. A new synthetic finish protects this material and provides it with extra grip – an area where the previous generation was lacking. Hidden inside the boot is an elastic membrane that wraps around the instep – very similar to that of the ACE 16+ – securing it to the base so that stability is not compromised by the absence of laces.

And we’ll finish by talking about the outsole. The first thing we notice is the return of the modular outsole, which we haven’t seen on adidas football boots for almost 10 years. The new plate structure makes it lighter and increases its responsiveness. On top of this are 11 conical studs in a traditional configuration, which will provide traction during the most aggressive moments of play.

adidas X19+

The technology used to support the upper of the adidas X football boots is the ultra-soft X-Layerskin. This material is thinner, softer to the touch and more flexible than that used in previous versions; as a result, the boot offers both greater comfort and a better feel when in contact with the ball. The weave used on the adidas speed boot has also been modified; it is slightly more aggressive whilst remaining soft, so in addition to the aforementioned increased comfort, ball grip has been improved in these new adidas X19s.

The plate that X players love so much is the Speedframe, which provides truly excellent traction and comfort, particularly thanks to the external heel cup that secures the foot to the base in a simply perfect way.
