Before going through the models in detail, we wanted to remind you that we must bear in mind that the most expensive boot is NOT always the best option; often we need a sturdier boot or one with larger studs, depending on the pitch, and we can find some real gems for a much lower price. This time, we’re looking at the options offered by adidas, where there are some truly excellent models available.
adidas Gamemode football boots
We’ll start with a special model from the adidas range. These Gamemode boots are a real rarity and certainly worth keeping an eye on.
These synthetic boots feature a particularly comfortable, cushioned lining and are the classic durable, sturdy pair that’s suitable for playing on any pitch, all for just under €100. A safe bet, and one that helps protect the environment too. An option well worth considering.
adidas X SpeedFlow.3 football boots
We’ve reached the speed range, and the truth is, it’s a very good boot for the price. It retains the values and essence of the German brand’s fastest range.
This is a very lightweight upper, made from a relatively comfortable synthetic material, which retains the signature sole of the elite-range model, with the same stud configuration, ensuring quick acceleration and deceleration in every run. A very affordable option that offers a feel very similar to adidas’s fastest football boot.
adidas Predator Freak.2 football boots
We’re moving into a price range that might not be the cheapest, but we think this model is well worth the money. You get the essence of the Predator series at a much lower price compared to the top-of-the-range models.
The upper is made from a synthetic material with a knitted insert at the heel, but the key feature is a slightly scaled-down version of Demonskin 2.0, with fewer studs but the same construction. This allows for those special touches and better control, thanks to Demonskin. All this in a version that isn’t part of the elite range. A fantastic option.
adidas Copa Sense.3 football boots
And here we are with the third edition of the Copa, which features a two-part construction: a synthetic rear section and a natural leather front section. The rear section reduces weight, whilst the front section gives that understated, elegant feel with the ball that you only get with natural leather football boots.
All this comes in two versions – with and without laces – as we also have laceless versions in these price ranges. A real coup for adidas, offering a laceless leather boot for around 80 euros. An unbeatable option.
adidas Kaiser 5 Liga football boots
And we wanted to finish with the budget-friendly option from the Copa Mundial range. A classic football boot made from cowhide leather, which retains all the essence of the adidas Copa Mundial, but without the higher price tag.
The Kaiser 5 Liga boots are exactly that: a genuine leather option with a classic sole featuring tapered studs, yet they capture all the essence of vintage boots in terms of quality and durability, at a very, very reasonable price; therefore, they simply had to feature in this top list.
