Nowadays, we all know how difficult it can be to choose a new pair of football boots. Whether it’s for ourselves or for a member of our immediate family, this task is becoming increasingly complicated due to the vast array of different models currently available on the market.
The best football boots for narrow feet in 2021
As if that weren’t enough, with the different technologies used by each brand, we also have to contend with the various types of materials and designs they employ. Here at Fútbol Emotion, to make your life a little easier, we’ve put together a list of five boot models that we consider to be the top five choices for narrower feet in 2021.
Umbro Velocita Pro
The upper consists of a three-layer synthetic construction: an adaptive, breathable mesh and an internal cage. The central lacing system offers a customised fit. It also features a new ‘Sprint+’ outsole, made from ultra-lightweight, flexible and durable Pebax.
Nike Mercurial Vapor Elite
In the new Mercurial upper, we see how the Flyknit upper merges with the ‘Technical Componentized Upper’. The padded heel area acts as a perfectly effective heel counter which, together with the non-slip insole, prevents the foot from rolling inside the boot. Nike has opted for a two-piece modular Aerotrak 2 plate in the sole, joined by a spine. This reduces weight to a minimum whilst enhancing explosiveness.
New Balance Tekela V3 Pro
Featuring a Hipoknit construction and laceless technology, these NB Football boots boast an upper enhanced by Kinetic Stitch v3 technology. The new stud plate integrates seamlessly with the heel counter – which is not overly aggressive – and incorporates an internal cushioning pad for enhanced comfort and support. The big innovation with this sole is that it is laser-cut, allowing for a much more precise design and the possibility of creating truly spectacular patterns.
New Balance Furon V6 Pro
The new upper on the Furon integrates seamlessly with the new Fit Weave knit. HydroSkin technology remains in the form of a synthetic layer that covers the entire surface to protect the fabric. Thanks to this new upper, the American brand has incorporated a structured inner layer that keeps the foot fully supported and snug. NB has opted for an aggressive, claw-like outsole. This minimises weight whilst enhancing functionality.
adidas X Ghosted+
The new one-piece upper, crafted from MIRAGESKIN microfibre, has been designed to minimise weight, making this boot a much sleeker option than previous generations. One of the factors adidas places the greatest emphasis on is the support structure – both internal and external – as it is one of the key elements of this model. The German brand ensures that the foot is fully secured inside, alongside two padded and very comfortable heel counters. We can feel how the back rises higher than in previous generations, but without causing any discomfort to the Achilles tendon. adidas uses a new plate called CARBITEX SPEEDFRAME, a sole characterised by its durability and lightness.
And these are the five models of football boots that we consider best suited for those with narrower feet in 2021. Don’t forget that you can buy any of these models on the Fútbol Emotion website.
