Internet Day

The internet is keeping us going during these difficult times. It has become part of our daily lives, and today we want to tell you about a day dedicated to a tool without which it is now unthinkable to work. A tool that has helped us carry on during these bleak and difficult times and that makes our lives easier in practically every respect.

Many people focus solely on the negative aspects that this invention has brought with it, but they fail to realise that, for example, over the last few months we’ve been able to stay close to one another thanks solely to the internet. It has allowed us to travel from one country to another, from home to home, and never feel alone. It has also allowed us to continue receiving orders and putting a smile on all our customers’ faces.

That’s why, at Fútbol Emotion, we’ve decided to do something really big: we’re offering discounts of up to 70 per cent, which you can enjoy exclusively here on our website.

We’re doing all this because it’s a very important day in Spain. It’s been celebrated for several years now, and during that time numerous events have been organised, as it’s a very special occasion. We’ve also organised a few in-person events over the years, but this year, given everything that’s happened, we’ve decided not to hold any in-person events and instead to organise something big via our website and social media channels, such as Instagram and YouTube.

The fact is, we’ve never stopped: we’ve continued to share videos and content with you so that you can keep up to date.

So, lads and lasses, this is a crucial day for us. The internet has enabled us to carry on over the last few days and has also allowed us to show you and analyse together the new releases from various brands, such as Nike’s Wavelength Pack or Reusch’s new goalkeeper gloves.

We’re talking about the Wavelenght Pack, a truly revolutionary collection featuring a colour scheme that’s completely different from anything we’ve seen before. You’re probably wondering what the name of this new pack means. After doing a bit of research, we’ve discovered that the word ‘Wavelenght’ means ‘wavelength’. We don’t know exactly what Nike is trying to focus on with this concept, but we reckon it might be related to the hue that a wave takes on as it travels. In any case, we won’t dwell on this too much, as Nike hasn’t provided us with any scientific explanation on the matter.

Those with a nostalgic streak are in for a treat. The German brand Reusch has unveiled a new goalkeeper glove, the Reusch Arrow Pure Contact, featuring numerous innovative technologies we’ve already seen in recent models, but also with a touch of history: a journey back in time to recall the early days of such an important and pioneering brand in the world of goalkeeper gloves.

Over the past few years, we’ve seen how gloves have been changing, evolving and making strides forward, but, if we think about it, we’re also witnessing a sort of return to the past. The very first models produced were very lightweight and made from just a few materials, in an effort to ensure they weren’t too bulky or thick. Later, during the early 2000s, thicker and more durable gloves began to appear, right up to the present day, where this type of glove is the most widely used. However, it is also true that, little by little, lightweight gloves – made with fewer materials and of a thinner gauge – are coming back into fashion.
