TOP 5 futsal shoes of 2020
Once again, we’re kicking off this product ranking—this list of the top futsal shoes—with some key information about all the ranges you’ll find here. This list has been compiled in collaboration with various members of the Fútbol Emotion social media community, so it may not be a completely unanimous ranking. That’s why we invite you to share your thoughts in the comments section.
Munich Prisma
The Munich Prisma is a boot that perfectly combines the classic essence of futsal with the latest technologies. Its upper features a very soft natural leather vamp, complemented by textile and synthetic inserts. This combination offers excellent ball feel, great breathability and a very lightweight shoe for the court. The outsole is another of its strengths, made from rubber of varying densities and featuring X-Arch technology, which provides excellent stability during all types of movement. Furthermore, its 3 mm EVA layer ensures optimal cushioning with every step.
Joma Cancha RFEF
In mid-November, the RFEF and Joma unveiled an exclusive range of futsal shoes designed for referees across all divisions for the 2020–2021 season. The collection includes the Cancha model, a shoe that stands out for its lightness, weighing just 237 grams, making it one of the lightest in Joma’s catalogue. This weight reduction is achieved thanks to its microfibre construction, with TPU inserts on a micro-perforated nylon base, which maintains functionality without adding extra weight. It features a low-profile midsole that enhances the feel of contact with the court and a highly durable outsole, designed to perform on any type of surface.
New Balance Audazo
The New Balance Audazo v4 Pro stands out for its combination of top-quality materials, designed to create one of the Boston-based brand’s finest futsal shoes. The upper features high-quality natural leather that moulds perfectly to any foot shape, offering a comfortable and precise fit. The sides, made from a mesh-like material, improve breathability and add lightness to a mid-cut boot. Furthermore, it incorporates REVlite technology in the midsole, which provides above-average cushioning within the futsal shoe segment, ensuring comfort with every step.
adidas Top Sala
The adidas Top Sala is back with a revamped design that combines synthetic materials with genuine leather, whilst retaining the essence of one of futsal’s most iconic ranges. Its key selling points are comfort, lightness, stability and high durability – features that make it one of the most well-rounded boots on the market. The outsole is made from moulded EVA rubber, which significantly improves shock absorption and provides a stable, secure footing for all types of movement on the court.
Nike React Gato
The big news at the start of the season was the launch of a range that completely revolutionised futsal: the Nike React Gato. This range features high-end cushioning technology and a Flyknit upper, making it one of the most comfortable shoes on the market, with a fit that adapts to virtually any foot shape. The sole, featuring Nike React technology—based on a foam core injected into a lightweight structure—offers excellent impact distribution and optimal responsiveness on the court.
And so, these are the five shoes that make up our ranking of the best of 2020. Do you agree with all of them? Have we left any models out? Remember that all these models and many more are available on the Fútbol Emotion website.
