New FC Barcelona jersey

Barcelona has always been a cutting-edge and creative city. Its art, culture, cuisine... the city has always represented progress, and Nike echoes this every year in its FC Barcelona jersey.

Today we saw FC Barcelona's jersey for the 22/23 season, and once again, upon seeing the photo, we were struck by the feeling that if there is one club that dares to do anything, it is Barça. This year's jersey features three colours. Yes, you read that right, three colours which, although two of them are shades of blue, have little in common thanks to their different tones.

A total of eight stripes cover the entire front of FC Barcelona's new jersey. Three are light blue, another three are red, and two are a darker shade which, although it loses out in terms of number of stripes, is the dominant colour of the entire kit, as both the sleeves and the top of Barça's jersey for next season are painted in this colour. This same shade is also found on the shorts and socks, giving the kit a dark and serene look that we have not seen in the Catalan club's kit for some time. 

The main change, apart from the design, is the addition of FC Barcelona's new sponsor. Starting next season, the online music streaming platform Spotify will have its name emblazoned across the chests of Barça players, which is great news for the club given its delicate financial situation. The logo of this new sponsor appears in a colour that is somewhere between gold and beige, and will also cover the Nike swoosh on the jersey, shorts and socks.
