The Colchoneros’ new home kit is inspired by the jerseys worn in the 1940s, specifically in 1947, a period when the club adopted its current name, Atlético de Madrid, and the name Atlético-Aviación, which is no longer used.

To achieve a modern look that is clearly inspired by a classic football jersey, the designers at Nike Football opted for wider stripes covering the entire front of the jersey, with an effect that resembles an oil painting, reinforcing the concept of a tribute. Another detail on the front and the stripes that cannot be overlooked is the ‘A’, formed by the horizontal stripe.
The key technology in this kit has changed from previous seasons and is the new Dri-FIT ADV, which combines sweat-wicking fabric with more advanced engineering, offering a fit that maintains breathability without compromising on comfort in the slightest. Furthermore, the textured mesh fabric in the areas prone to sweating helps to wick away moisture, keeping us cool and dry at all times.
