Under the slogan “Faster Forward”, Puma’s mission is to be the fastest brand in the world of football, and to this end it has developed and implemented new innovations across its entire range of football boots. It has now taken this approach to its jerseys as well, with significant developments and improvements in the manufacturing process, resulting in the world’s lightest football shirt.

The production of this ultra-lightweight mesh began after years of testing with various athletes, culminating in the creation of a unique base for the jersey, weighing just 72 grams. It’s absolutely incredible.

The jersey is made up of different two-dimensional panels joined using various techniques, which reduce the number of stitches and seams, resulting in a lighter jersey with better breathability. In addition, ULTRAWEAVE jerseys feature a new printing technique for the team logos, the federation crest and the Puma logo, making them lighter and more breathable than those found on traditional jerseys.

The fabric used is recycled polyester, which has thermoregulatory properties that, together with Drycell technology, ensure that sweat dries quickly and the shirt breathes as effectively as possible, without adding bulk, making it ready for competition in all weather conditions.

For now, the Italian national team debuted this new technology on their kit on 6 October in their match against Spain. However, we will soon see it incorporated into the various kits of the Puma teams.

And this is the revolutionary new technology from the brand with the leopard logo – a huge leap forward that will bring us a new range of jerseys of exceptional quality. Lighter, more breathable and more comfortable: that’s the new Puma jersey range. Friends, Puma “Fast Forward”.
