Drawing inspiration entirely from what the Juve players call home, the German brand and the club’s main kit sponsor unveiled Juventus’ new home kit for the 2021/22 season yesterday, exactly ten years after the official opening of the Allianz Stadium. A jersey that pays tribute to the iconic players who have shaped the club’s history, but also to its fans, who have played a vital role in making the Allianz the symbol it is today.
The new Ronaldo's jersey - Juventus 2021/22
This new kit can be seen as a redesign of the traditional, more classic uniform we are used to seeing at Turin’s leading club. Featuring a new crew neck that offers greater breathability, it also includes a patch bearing the message: “10 YEARS AT HOME”, in reference to the famous red and white flagpoles at the stadium.
The jersey also features a star and pentagon design from the legendary Cammino delle Stelle (Walk of Fame), woven directly into the fabric of the garment.
According to Francesca Venturini, designer at adidas Football: ‘It was important for us to mark the tenth anniversary of Juventus moving into their new stadium with this new jersey. Juventus embodies innovation not only in Italy, but also on the international football stage, as it is one of the global leaders in the world of football.’
This new kit will make its debut on the pitch at the Coppa Italia final on the 19th of May, and is now available to buy on our website or in any of our shops.
