Hi there,
I know you are expecting new exercises to try out with you goalkeepers, or to comment with the head coach, but before we start withthat it's really important to know the terms that will appear in this blog so it will be easier to understand the exercises, ask questions and answer without confusion.
We will start with the three methodologs we will use the most:
1. Analytics: Running the exercise repetitively without interaction with the real game. The most typical example of this methodology is striking at the hands to warm up, repetitively with a little movement and without decisions.
2.Mixed: Method that simulates real game situations in small formats. Linking game actions we face in the game gives good results, for example, after a save, recover position and perform another blocking action.
3.Global: Simulate as real as possible the situations that happen when competing. This is very difficult task for us as goalkeeping coaches, because we'd need players to simulate defenders and attackers. Normally, we will practice it with the actions combined together with the team.
For each category, a method will be used more than others, for example, introduce more analytical work, with under 8 teams, without forgetting the mixed, and for under 16, the mixedwork provides multiple technical and tactical solutions that make the goalkeepers more complete both defense and offensively.
Next weed I will continue with the second part of "Our language
La semana que viene, continuaré con la segunda parte de "Nuestro lenguaje".
Bye!
