Fans of special editions are in for a treat thanks to the launch of the adidas Legends Pack. The Predator Pulse, Adipure and F50 Adizero – three of the most iconic models in the brand’s history – are making a comeback as limited-edition reissues.

This limited edition from the German brand brings us three of the most iconic models in its entire history: the Predator Pulse, the F50 Adizero and the Adipure.
If there’s one brand that’s an expert at releasing reissues, it’s adidas. The care and dedication the Germans bring to these kinds of editions is unrivalled. It’s not enough for them to simply produce something similar to the originals, or to dress up their current models in iconic colours from the past; for adidas, it’s important that these football boots are as close as possible to their first editions, and they demonstrate this through the materials they use and the level of detail found in these adidas football boots.
The only thing these three football boots from the Legends Pack have in common is their colour scheme. Black as the base colour, white for the three stripes, and gold for the detailing. Working with these three shades is a sure-fire success, but let’s not take anything away from the brand, as choosing the colours is just as important as applying them to the boots, and this time adidas has scored top marks on both counts.
It’s true that all three football boots in the Legends Pack are extraordinary, but let us start by talking about our favourites in terms of design: the adidas Predator Pulse football boots. If these boots have one standout feature, it is undoubtedly the tongue; but as if it didn’t have enough character already, the three-stripe brand has decided to paint it a beautiful gold colour, turning something very good into something perfect.
The rest of the adidas Predator Pulse football boots are a faithful recreation of the 2004 model. They feature top-quality natural leather that is exceptionally soft and comfortable, the Predator Element on the inner striking surface, and the brand’s three stripes in white, both on the inside and outside of the boot.
The only thing that’s changed is the sole. As we know, adidas aims to offer us the greatest possible functionality in these reissues, so the sole – the part that has evolved the most over the years – is taken from the current adidas Predator Freak football boots. A pair of beautiful football boots, with a design that brings back memories we thought we’d forgotten, and with which it’s almost a shame to kick a ball, rather than hiding them away from the world on a shelf at home like a treasure.
And speaking of vintage leather boots that marked a turning point for the brand, let’s move on to the adidas Adipure football boots. These are perhaps the simplest in the Legends Pack, but that understated style is inherent to the Adipure concept. These adidas football boots give us exactly what we need—no more, no less—just as they did back in 2007.
The upper of these adidas Adipure football boots is made entirely from natural leather, with black taking centre stage. The brand’s three stripes appear in white, both on the inside and outside, whilst gold adds a touch of colour and class to this model. The most distinctive feature is the pull tab at the back of these adidas football boots. We are not convinced it’s actually functional, as these are wide-fitting football boots that are very easy to slip on without needing the pull tab; however, aesthetically it adds a retro feel that fits perfectly with the rest of the boot and the Adipure essence.
Finally, we’ll be looking at the adidas F50 Adizero football boots, a range that left an indelible mark on the history of speed boots. It’s true that these are the most understated of the three ranges in the Legends Pack, so at first glance you might think that black wouldn’t be their best choice; but one look at the first photo of these adidas football boots and you’ll completely change your mind.
It’s also worth noting that, at first glance, they are very reminiscent of the adidas F50 Memory Line x Fútbol Emotion, a special edition designed entirely by Fútbol Emotion that bears a striking resemblance to these adidas F50 Adizero football boots.
Moving on to the technical features, we have a fully synthetic upper, just like the one found in the 2010 edition. One of the most distinctive features of these football boots is the lacing system, which is slightly offset towards the outside, leaving the inner instep area – the part we usually use to strike the ball – unobstructed. The sole, as with the other models, is the only part that adidas has modified in these adidas F50 Adizero football boots, incorporating the sole from the current adidas X Speedflow alongside its external heel counter, as they form a single piece.
