New Mizuno Alpha

You have often read on this blog that Mizuno makes the best leather boots on the market, but what about synthetic ones? Today we present Alpha, the latest creation from the Japanese brand.

Mizuno is one of the brands that works best on its products by far, and there are many occasions when you may have read or heard about the materials used in the Japanese brand's football boots, with natural leather being a highlight. But this time we are looking at something completely different, a new Mizuno silo that, for the first time in a long time, is made from synthetic materials. The Mizuno Alpha football boots are a revolution within the brand and a mystery to all sports enthusiasts. This new silo was presented to us many months ago and has changed experts' opinion after hold them in their hands, put them on their feet and examine them in detail, because everything seems to make sense now.

The upper is ultra-minimalist, made from a very malleable synthetic material which, if it has any flaw, is that it is not very sturdy, although maybe consumers are not really concern about this on this type of football boot. Something that caught experts' attention is that the upper is coated with a finish that, when you run your finger over it, gives the impression that it will provide a lot of grip when in contact with the ball, something that the brand has not wanted to emphasise, but which could set it apart from its competitors.

In the central area, we find a very thin classic tongue located under the lacing. This allows us to adjust the boot as much as we want, something extremely important in a model that aims to be like a second skin. Moving towards the heel area, we have a very rigid external heel counter that will provide all the stability that such a minimalist boot needs. This is very important as the Mizuno Alpha is designed for players who perform high-speed actions, and that is where the stability of the boot makes all the difference.

Moving on to the sole, we find different technologies, all designed to maximise a specific playing style. These are called MIZUNO ENERGY FOAM and KaRVO Half Board, and are compounds that provide cushioning and comfort, and stand out for their energy return system, something we will notice in jumps and sprints. All this is added to a plate formed by triangular studs, which will provide traction in any game action.

In conclusion, in the first paragraph we said that everything in these boots makes sense, meaning that philosophy, technologies and materials go hand in hand in Mizuno Alpha football boots. The concept is a pure speed boot inspired by athletes' shoes, and to achieve this, they have created a lightweight, minimalist silo with technologies that promote reactivity and a sole that provides traction in any situation at high speed. Once again, congratulations to Mizuno for another great product that is now available on the Fútbol Emotion website.
