Nike Mercurial Safary Print
The Nike Mercurial football boots, as well as being the ultimate embodiment of speed boots, are also a symbol of boldness; not only in terms of technology, but throughout the history of this range, there have been some true aesthetic marvels. Without a doubt, this Nike Mercurial Safari leaves no one indifferent. The Safari print made its debut in football footwear on Cristiano Ronaldo’s boots in November 2010. The look quickly became a classic on the pitch: its design was used in a unique way, overlaid with a tonal reflection and a non-reflective chevron pattern that glows in certain light.
This colour did not originate in football, nor, of course, in the history of the American brand; it is no longer just a colour, as Nike originally introduced the print on its Air Safari running shoes in 1987, and the unexpected aesthetic transformed the design of high-performance footwear. At that time, Nike’s innovative designer and the father of the Air Jordan series, Tinker Hatfield, began exploring non-traditional materials, patterns and colours for use in sports footwear and conceived the now legendary ostrich skin print.
“The Air Safari proved that you can create a sports shoe that is both beautiful and distinctive without compromising on high-performance functionality,” said Hatfield, Nike’s vice-president of creative design. “It helped people make a personal style statement, whether they were wearing it for a run or a night out.” These boots, in particular, shone in an exceptional way, glowing under certain light. The Mercurial Vapor SuperFly II also gave consumers exclusive access to training insights from top players and coaches via Nike Football+. Each pair of boots came with a unique user code to unlock insider tips and training content from Master Speed.
Among the new features is Nike Flywire technology, a lightweight material that forms the upper, increasing the range of motion whilst locking the foot into the sole, ensuring maximum energy transfer from the foot to the ground. Just like a bridge.

A look that you’ll fall in love with at first sight, ready to send us soaring across the pitch. The upper of these Nike football boots is simply stunning and offers a truly superior fit. The Silver Safari design, combined with silver, yellow and black, not only stands out but is packed with nostalgic details from the Safari print. A spectacular touch. The traction on this boot is very aggressive and allows sprinters to give their all in every race, just like the Nike Spectrum Pack, which, of course, are Mbappé’s boots, and are once again at the top of the football boot rankings.
