The boots for the EURO: Nike Impulse Pack
These are the football boots we saw in the Women’s Champions League final, the ones we’ll see in the men’s final and, of course, at the EURO and Copa América this coming summer. The ‘aqua’ colour scheme stands out because all the boots reflect that sense of football’s return after such a difficult year for everyone. The truth is that these colours really stand out on the pitch and look absolutely stunning once you’ve got them on your feet. The new Nike Impulse pack is brilliant.
Nike Phantom Gt Impulse pack
Let’s start with a boot that everyone who tries it loves; it’s the perfect solution for all of us who were looking for a boot that’s wider than the Mercurial and offers better grip. The Generative Texture takes care of that and gives us brilliant ball control. What’s more, this is complemented by a superb boot-to-foot fit, thanks to the Flyknit, which forms the entire upper of the boot.
On the sole, we have the new plate that provides excellent traction, with a tri-claw stud pattern and a flex zone – something we’ll appreciate when breaking away and sprinting at top speed. Kevin De Bruyne’s football boots are a real hit.
Nike Tiempo Elite 8 Impulse pack
The American brand’s genuine leather boots will stand out even more in this new dark green colour. To be honest, we think the Tiempo logo on the heel is a great touch, and the contrast with the leather looks perfect.
In terms of functionality, comfort is guaranteed thanks to the internal “Quadfit” system, set within a premium-quality natural leather upper that will delight traditionalists. All this, combined with a responsive and lightweight plate, makes the Nike Tiempo a truly complete football boot. Another standout feature is its lightness, as both the plate and the leather are very lightweight, resulting in a boot that weighs barely 200g – a simply staggering figure for a leather football boot.
Nike Mercurial Impulse pack
One of Nike’s most iconic boots has been given a new design, whilst retaining the best features of its predecessors: an aggressive look and feel, made for the fastest players on the planet.
The Dragonfly outsole gives us a slightly ‘grippier’ feel with the ball, and a snug fit is guaranteed in both the Vapor and Superfly models, as they feel very similar in both cases. The outsole is one of the most aggressive on the market with a tri-block stud pattern, providing excellent traction in all situations. A key feature of this boot is the fit, as the snugness is superb and it is one of the boots that comes closest to the sensation of playing barefoot.
The boots worn by Cristiano Ronaldo, Kylian Mbappé and Haaland are simply incredible from every angle – undoubtedly the most iconic Mercurial boots of recent times.
And this is Nike’s new Impulse pack, a revamp for this year’s biggest competitions, which we’re sure to see lifting trophies. Now available on the Fútbol Emotion website.
