The Puma King is the German brand’s most iconic football boot. Some of the greatest stars in the history of the sport, such as Pelé and Diego Armando Maradona, have had the privilege of making their mark on the world of football with Puma King boots as their key ally, cementing this range’s place in football history.
Today we’re here to present a special edition of Puma’s most iconic model, which this time pays tribute to its founder, Rudolf Dassler. Class, beauty, presence, style… these are just some of the words that spring to mind when we see the first image of these Puma King football boots. The German brand has played it safe by bringing us some top-quality leather boots in white, with black and gold detailing – a combination of features that boosts the chances of success for any football boot..
We’ll start by taking a closer look at these Puma King football boots, beginning with the stitching on the upper. As we mentioned earlier, white is the colour that defines these football boots, but we can see that on the front, Puma has included a series of stitches without a specific pattern that intertwine with one another, turning something as obvious and necessary as stitching into part of the design of these Puma King Dassler Legacy football boots. Moving along the front of the Puma King football boots, we reach the side to find two new details. One of them is the brand logo, in black, with no alterations or new features. The other detail is found above the logo, and is the King silo badge. This appears in gold, adding a touch of class that only gold could provide.
Staying with the gold colour scheme, we move on to one of the most important parts of the Puma King football boots. This is none other than the tongue, which is so iconic when it comes to this Puma range and which, unsurprisingly, the brand has decided to retain in this special edition. The Puma logo, once again in gold, covers this part of the football boots, which, in my view, is the standout feature of this special edition of the Puma King.
Let’s move on to the heel, a simple feature that, at first glance, doesn’t seem to incorporate much in the way of technology, but which deserves a separate look as it features a detail that will delight fans of the German brand. Firstly, we notice a colour that differs from the rest of the Puma King Dassler Legacy football boots: off-white. However, this wasn’t the detail we were referring to. If we look at the centre of the heel, we see a logo featuring a feline and the letter D. As some of you may already know, this is the brand’s first logo, consisting of the feline that gives the brand its name and the initial of its founder’s first surname, Rudolf Dassler. Pure nostalgia for Puma fans, as well as a detail that confirms these aren’t just any old football boots, but a tribute to the man who started the brand’s history.
Finally, the sole. A classic soleplate, in an FG version with conical studs, true to the essence of the Puma King. Functionality and comfort, with no stud configurations, designed to ensure that every type of footballer feels comfortable when wearing these Puma King football boots.
That’s all there is to say about the Puma King Dassler Legacy football boots – a masterpiece from the German brand, now available both in-store and on the Futbol Emotion website.
New colourways for two silos from the swoosh brand, which are already filling the courts. The Attack Pack is already showing off, and we're going to take a look at all its details.
We have a new limited edition of the adidas Predator 26, which come in spectacular colourways and a very special design. Let's find out everything these new Unlocked boots have to offer.
