These new adidas football boots are a clear example of human adaptability. As you all know, following the cancellation of the world’s major sporting events, including UEFA EURO 2020, this was set to be the collection that adidas would have unveiled for that tournament and for all the brand’s players competing in it. That postponement to 2021 hasn’t stopped adidas; in fact, this pack will be crucial in the final stages of the world’s top leagues, as well as in the final phase of the Champions League.
Uniforia Pack – The most recent adidas pack
This new collection from the German brand brings together two forces: Unity and Euphoria (UNITY + EUPHORIA). Just as we explained with the new EURO 2020 ball – inspired by the revamped format of the tournament, which will be played across 12 different European countries for the first time – the Uniforia design celebrates the idea of building bridges, blurring borders and embracing the diversity of fans and athletes, through a unique fusion of art and football. What we see in our cities, neighbourhoods, streets and, above all, in every home is the need to come together for change, now, and more than ever. This is a great opportunity to proudly showcase the power of unity and celebrate sport as a connector of people, ideas and creativity in these difficult times. That beautiful blend of colours, set against a pristine white background, reaffirms our love for football; every country, every team, every colour. Our love for football is everlasting. Football will never stop. And neither will football boots.
Anika Marie Kennaugh, a product designer at adidas, said: “When we design Uniforia, we always aim to reflect the culture; what is the spirit of the streets that we can proudly display in the stadium? What we saw in our cities—all of which are key—is the need to come together and unite for change.”
adidas Copa 20+ football boot
There isn’t much difference from its predecessor, the adidas Copa 19+ boot. A boot we saw in the previous Mutator Pack and which, from a technical standpoint, is truly outstanding; it features an upper made entirely of kangaroo leather, which wraps around the entire surface of the boot and is sealed to prevent any warping of the leather. The novelty of this football boot lies in its shell, where we see small filaments that create a 3D design across the upper, offering much greater grip and control with the ball. Perhaps adidas hasn’t taken too many risks, offering the player a simple yet effective restyling.
The leather blends seamlessly with adidas’s famous Primeknit in the ankle area, which is responsible for securing the foot firmly within the boot. The forefoot area is essentially completely uncluttered, because, as you can see, this football boot has no laces. This laceless kangaroo leather boot introduces a new concept in football boots, as it combines ‘classic’ materials with a thoroughly modern design. As for the sole, the new ‘Exoframe’ plate combines two densities to provide simply brilliant weight distribution throughout the boot, without compromising on traction—which is slightly more up-to-date than in previous classic adidas Copa Mundial football boots—as it features 13 semi-conical studs.
adidas Nemeziz 19+ football boots
The shell continues to utilise AgilityBandage technology, but this time the bandage is woven into the forefoot, allowing it to rise evenly up both sides of the boot. A new synthetic finish protects this material and provides extra grip, which was one of the weak points of the previous generation. Inside the boot, there is an elastic membrane that hugs the instep, very similar to that of the ACE 16+, securing it to the base so that stability is not compromised by the absence of laces.
And we’ll finish by talking about the outsole. The first thing we notice is the return of the modular outsole, which we haven’t seen on adidas football boots for almost 10 years. The new plate structure makes it lighter and increases its responsiveness. On top of this, there are 11 conical studs in a traditional configuration, which will provide traction during the most aggressive moments of play. Let’s not forget that these are Leo Messi’s new football boots.
adidas X19+ football boots
The technology used to support the upper of the adidas X19+ football boots is the ultra-soft X-Layerskin. This material is thinner, softer to the touch and more pliable than that used in previous versions, meaning the boot offers both greater comfort and improved ball feel. The weave used on the adidas speed boot has also been modified and is slightly more aggressive yet still soft, so in addition to the aforementioned increased comfort, ball grip has been improved in these new adidas X19s.
The base that X players love so much is the Speedframe, which offers absolutely brilliant traction and comfort, thanks in particular to the external heel cup that secures the foot to the base in simply perfect fashion.
adidas Predator 20+ football boot
That’s it, here it is. The new adidas Predator 20+ football boot is now available, and of course, you can buy it via the Fútbol Emotion website. If you’d like more detailed information, we’d encourage you to check out the post on the new adidas Predator 20 that we’ve published in our blog section. In any case, 406 spikes cover the most frequently used striking areas on this new boot, just as Craig Johnston did on his 1992 prototype. The cornerstone of what we see today.
The history of the classic adidas Predator boots has always been closely linked to split soles, and this time, after years of anticipation and under the name Control Frame, it makes its debut in 2020. The upper is known as Demon Skin, featuring a Primeknit construction with laceless technology to provide grip during boot-to-ball contact. The master of game control, utterly demonic, capable of anything, capable of making you feel like the true master of the football pitch.
