Specialist brand HO Soccer presents the new Eskudo, a goalkeeper’s glove that shows us how the trend for seamless gloves is gradually fading, giving way to a niche market for more balanced gloves; just as is the case with the Spanish brand’s new SP balanced gloves – three gloves for three types of goalkeeper.
HO Soccer Escudo – The most balanced goalkeeper glove
This new range is part of the ESKUDO model, a name that perfectly captures this model’s ‘strength’, as it strikes the perfect balance between sturdiness and lightness – in contrast to its sister model, the HO Supremo II glove. The most significant new development is the new range that has recently been added to the HO SOCCER glove family, which has exceeded all expectations thanks to its widespread acceptance amongst all professional goalkeepers.
We are living in an age where appearance is everything, where few goalkeepers choose their gloves solely on the basis of performance and where many need their kit to be visually appealing. HO is well aware of this and pays close attention to this aspect, but where HO Soccer gloves really make their mark and go all out is in the vast range of styles and options available for all types of goalkeepers.
The most notable feature of HO’s new glove is its versatility, as it is perfectly suited to both the ‘classic’ and the ‘modern’ goalkeeper; its construction makes it a minimalist-style model – lightweight, yet well-structured, which gives the glove that feeling of firmness. All this is achieved thanks to the new backing applied to the back of this model using 3D GEL 2.0 technology, which perfectly protects and cushions the back of the hand in the most critical areas whilst also providing great flexibility, as several high-frequency zones have been incorporated.
Another feature worth highlighting about this new glove model is that the 100% neoprene body, in this case, extends only as far as the base of the wrist, where it ends and is joined by a full elastic wristband that provides perfect support.
The new HO Soccer set will soon be available via the Fútbol Emotion website. What do you think of this new release? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section or get in touch via our various social media channels.
