What does mixed mean in a pair of Football Boots?

Mixed (Rubber y aluminium)

Mixed soles with rubber and aluminium studs are a popular choice among professional footballers and are becoming increasingly common in amateur football, too.

A few years ago, professional team kit men would cut six rubber studs and replace them with aluminium ones at the players' request, in order to create a boot that combined the advantages of rubber and aluminium soles: good stud penetration on soft pitches, a comfortable grip on hard natural pitches, and great flexibility.

As natural pitches have improved, especially at a professional level, brands are beginning to discard all-aluminium stud soles, and more and more mixed-sole models are appearing.
