If you love goalkeeper gloves, you're always a little more excited than everyone else when this time of year rolls around. Because, in addition to family gatherings and parties with friends, you know that it wouldn't be Christmas without the CHR collection from SP Fútbol. This year, the Spanish brand has decided to continue with a design inspired by The X Factor, that intangible quality that sets the chosen ones apart from the rest, represented by an X on the back of the five models presented today.
We will begin by discussing the brand we see most often in elite football: SP Earhart goalkeeper gloves. For this collection, the gloves designed for women's hands are dressed in various shades of blue combined with pink. Although the latter colour only appears on the brand logo and the details on the fingers, it achieves a final finish that would not be the same without it.
In terms of functionality, there are no changes. The SP Earhart goalkeeper gloves were the last gloves from the brand to undergo a generational change, and in this collection we will continue to find the same features as in the previous one, but with a different design. SP Fútbol has done a great job with the design of one of the brand's most important gloves, as these are the ones we see week after week covering most of the goals in the Liga F.
We continue this blog by talking about the SP Pantera goalkeeper gloves, one of the models that has grown the most in sales in recent years and which has also become a favourite among some of SP's flagship goalkeepers, such as Levante UD's Dani Cárdenas. Red dominates the upper part of the Pantera, a colour that we have seen the brand use before and which gives it a stunning finish. White has been chosen for the lower part, completely covering the neoprene in this area and the closure strip above it.
As a detail, we would like to highlight the black colour of the PU seal that hides the seams between the two materials on the back of the glove, as, in addition to being essential from a functional point of view, on this occasion it contributes very positively to the design of the SP Pantera goalkeeper gloves. This is another of the silos that evolved in the previous ‘El Factor X’ collection, so we will not find any technological alterations either.
Let's move on to the crown jewel, the SP Atlas goalkeeper gloves. In terms of design, these are our favourite gloves from the new SP El Factor X CHR collection. All the shades of green used on the back fit together perfectly, creating a striking yet subtle finish that highlights the “X” and gives the impression that this is something we have never seen before. Congratulations to SP Fútbol design team for this spectacular work.
Black is the dominant colour on the lower part, covering both the elastic breathprene in this area and the closure strip. The SP Fútbol Atlas goalkeeper gloves have not undergone any changes in terms of materials and technologies, as feedback from our goalkeepers indicates that, for the time being, no modifications are needed to continue competing with the top gloves from other brands on the market.
In this case, we do find a slight change in the SP Fútbol Valor goalkeeper gloves. The latex we had in this silo until now was Viscoblock, and for this collection, this compound has evolved into Viscoblock+. As previously said, this is an evolution, as we still have viscoelastic foam, but it is obtained using a new formula that improves grip and speeds up the activation process.
In terms of design, the SP Valor goalkeeper gloves feature a finish that combines white, covering all the latex on the back, and black for the neoprene that forms the body of the glove. Added to this is a striking fuchsia pink, which is the colour used to highlight the X found on all the gloves in this new CHR collection from SP Fútbol.
And finally, we will analyse the new SP Fútbol Zero goalkeeper gloves, the most minimalist silo from the Spanish brand. Whenever we talk to the SP Fútbol team, they tell us that Zero has a design advantage that the others do not have, which is that, as it is a one-piece glove made from LatexBody, almost anything can be sublimated onto them, making the possibilities for colours, gradients and various patterns almost endless.
As you know, SP Fútbol Zero goalkeeper gloves are the seamless version from the Aragonese brand, a type of glove that is increasingly in demand by goalkeepers who don't like to have a lot of material between their hands and the ball, and enjoy the feeling of lightness and minimalism that this style of glove provides. For this CHR collection, the Zero gloves are orange, a shade that starts dark at the bottom and gradually lightens as it moves up the back. The brand and model logos, in white, together with the latex wrapping on the thumb, add a touch of light that looks great on the final finish of this model.
That's all about the new SP Fútbol El Factor X CHR collection, a colour change for the brand's five silos that we will see on football pitches during the second half of the season. As you know, SP Fútbol goalkeeper gloves are exclusively available in stores and on the Fútbol Emotion website.
